Personally, Im not a Christian, but I can respect the points you make. In my opinion, I personally just see Christmas as more about giving and loving, rather than the actual deeper stuff. However, overall, it's nice to see someone just sharing their opinions. Awesome video!
As part of a Christian family myself, I can agree to some of your points. Although my family isn’t as Christian-y as yours, we still believe in a lot of things your family does. And I agree that the idea of Santa is kinda weird and inaccurate, and the commercialism kind of covers up the true meaning of the holiday, and it is kind of stressful trying to think of gifts to give to my family, heck even asking for gifts nowadays is hard because I’m not exactly sure what I want anymore. Even so, hope you’re having a good time this apparently summer, and I wish you a good new year!
It's actually AMAZING how me and my Family are literally gonna stop doing Christmas altogether after this year. (because my mom already got presents before we knew) I AGREE WITH ALL YOUR POINTS 100%. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD HERE THIS! Im sharing this to my Community!! ❤️❤️
I agree with all points shared in this video! I feel bad for the kids who get lied from their parents that Santa is real, except it’s just their parents. Even though I do celebrate Christmas because of my family, you use up lots of money for gifts and JUST for decorations. I totally understand why Christians don’t celebrate Christmas. Great video!!
I decorate cuz it’s fun and I never really believed in Santa I stop believing like in 2nd grade and i agree with most points here but I hope no one attacks u since everyone has different points we are not all the same hope you all have a merry time!❤
As a non-religious person, i still celebrate Xmas, Halloween, and Easter, but i have never believed in Santa or the Easter bunny because i was never told. I think your opinion on xmas is very valid, and there is a deeper meaning to xmas than singing songs, dancing, non existant people amd their deers pulling sleighs and giving presents. Sorry forbsuch a long comment 😅 -Cheetah (11 yrs)
I’ve never believed Santa was real. Not sure if my friends do or if they’re pretending to make me believe he’s real (they’re my elders, they’re older than me) I know how elves on the shelves work. I don’t believe in them, but I still want one to interact with me just for fun. I’ve never gotten a gift from “stranger breaking into ur house at midnight”. I know I never will. I just realized the Bible doesn’t tell us to celebrate it. You don’t celebrate every single person's birthday, do you? I still celebrate Christmas. It’s a fun time to spend time with family and give gifts to the people you love. Good video! You made me realize a lot of things
You made some really good points! Even though I don’t celebrate Christmas either I think it’s a great way to see how Christians turned something bad into something better (I do not think the same way about Halloween though just to be clear) It makes me sad when people lie to their kids about santa. My sister in law was telling me when she was a kid she would pray to God that Santa would give her family good gifts and when she turned 10 her mom told her the truth and she was really sad 😔 Bro imagine thinking Santa Claus was real for 10 years?!?
thanks so much for sharing your view on Christmas I always love hearing different perspectives !! also this is random but the music at 2:40 lowkey jumpscared me bc its one of the songs on loop at our mini movie theater-
Heyy awesome video! Before I leave a comment id like to ask my Father some questions and get his point of view, as I personally never thought go question Christmas as my Church has always celebrated it. I will say we have never believed in Santa, we know our parents get our gifts. We also do advent, where we light the candles the four days coming up to Christmas, hope peace love snd joy while we talk of Jesus coming to the Earth- whats your opinion on that? Anyway, other then that I fully understand and agree with your points in this video. And ill come back later once Ive talked to my family and get their point of view on the topic
I gotta be honest I’ve never heard of Advent so I can’t really comment on that. I’m glad to hear you’re open about my opinions and are interested in exploring it further. At the end of the day it all comes down to personal conviction about celebrating Christmas. Some families see nothing wrong with it while others are convicted (which was the case for mine).
I celebrate Christmas, but the whole Santa joke is crazy. He may be real but the fake coustumes parents claim to be real is absolutely disagreeing and disgusting. So nah bro.. I agree and respect u
This was a very informative video! My family does celebrate Christmas because of the birth of Jesus Christ, but it's ok if yours doesn't! (I'm not going to even lie, I don't want any gifts this year.) I've known for quite a while now that Jesus birthday isn't on December 25th, although I am curious on when He was actually born. I enjoy the traditions only because I have something to look foward to after a long, boring school year honestly. I actually did hear of santa being an anagram for satan a couple years ago and was shocked and disgusted. I do think you brought up some great points and 100% respect your oppinion!
So im an atheist so I don’t believen god but I 100% support it. My parents are Christian and we do Christmas every year still (We just don’t really say or do anything that involves Jesus) Me and my family celebrate it for the family and gifting part. Personally I love Christmas I just focus on a whole different part, I love gifting my friends stuff and idk it just feels so magical at this time of the year. Yesterday I actually asked this same question to my mom tho I asked her “What’s the point of Christmas when it’s mostly about Santa and not Jesus?” Like I love this holiday a lot but I feel bad for the Christian’s who are losing their holiday to a fictional character.
I don't mind the idea of Santa Clause to be honest, I feel like it would be better of other kids didn't ruin it early for each other I'm not personally Christian (but most of my family is) so my views are kind of different I haven't gotten much into my original statement but I'll get back on track, I don't mind the idea of parents saying Santa is real, it's a good way to teach kids about belief, you can believe in something but it's not always real, of course if you have a child thats s bit more sensitive then it might not be a great idea to tell them about Santa Also another thing: I feel like i would like receiving presents more if i could give back, I don't have my own money, because my parents only have one car so I can't, one day when i have a way to make my own money, i want to give back to people who gave to me before I don't think this is as well-written as most if my comments but I'm exhausted :p

hello! if you ever find out when He was born I would love to know!
@MochaMintz I don't believe I will ever know, at least, on this Earth! I wish I did though!
