@@williamlynch5535 i'm just a spectator and not a player, so here's my uneducated thought as to why you would pick it over drones: from my understanding, the OTG is incredibly helpful to secure extra damage in the form of being able to extend your combos more and being able to use it to convert off of things like when hulk threw magneto. since hulk does so much damage already, it makes it easier to secure character kills. the downside is that without drones, big bodies have a much harder time approaching. because of this, actually getting to the point where you can use your rocket punch OTG to secure damage/kills is more difficult. it can also weaken your incoming mix, although i don't think that part is too significant with this team specifically since hulk and haggar are best friends. by picking rocket punch over drones, TJ was kind of saying "i'm not scared of morrigan zoning or magneto flying around. i don't need the incredibly useful utility of drones because i'm going to get in that ass right away and get my kills with rocket punch." that takes a ton of confidence against that team, especially since escalante is a really strong pilot of that team. also, it's a nice QoL type thing when you use team hyper super since rocket punch assist gives you that microwave super instead of the drone super. again, i just watch a ton of marvel and don't play it, so if i'm dead wrong hopefully someone with firsthand knowledge can correct me.

TJ's team all it's members have OTG inputs, so there's not much of a reason to use it... But hey it's working lol. Thing of RP VS Sentinel Force, is that Sentinel Force helps with neutral. All that team struggles with neutral + Sentinel Force allows for highly damage combo routes. Sentinel Force is honestly the better option all around, and that's why it's so hype seeing TJ putting in work with RP lol; because realistically, you wouldn't sacrifice your ONLY neutral assist for an OTG. But with big body characters, you have to risk it and make ballsy moves; with or without neutral assists, so that's why we love the RP assist 👌
