My old man uses a lever action .444 marlin with the 265g hornadys and it a sweet round. This is only the 2nd vid of yours Ive seen and I noticed your a fellow Ohioan so you gained a subscriber. Great video! I have had similar issues with the bolt not locking back on empty, switching mags not necesarily the brand. Curious as to which lube you are using considering the temperature. Have you ever used the Geissele 22 buffer springs? Have a safe New Years!!!

Thanks. It’s been good so far with the wooden dowels in the bottom. Pushes up way harder on the follower and no issues now. Also bent up and sanded the mag a little and my brass looks way cleaner now! For lube I just use Hoppe’s lube oil.
