Yeah on that road alone though as its really, really wide. Overtakes are allowed there like that but with care of course. I'd never do it there with a lot of traffic
Loving this car mate, Ah man, the pain of losing footage is so annoying. You're bang on mate, Big brakes are essential in my eyes when you starting getting after power, yet it always seems to get slept on. It was one of my first mods and you might get away with crap brakes on the road, but on track you'll find out fast, come take it out on track mate your cars ready. You'll love it and you can take take it super easy on track for first time, you'll be fine easy. I'm with you on pop's and bangs maps - it's not for me either, each to their own I guess.
How much did it cost im new to Hondas and Japanese cars in general had German cars all my life m4 rs5 golf r, recently I got a normal 09 plate civic type s 1.8ivtec and it shocked me firstly how modern it looked inside and it feels a lot more than 140bhp so I’m getting myself a Type R in a couple weeks sourcing one right now funnest car I’ve driven and I realised you don’t actually need 500bhp to have fun it’s about that vtec noise and how the car drives around bendy roads after 1 week of having that type s 1.8 I’m a big Honda fan
So, I've actually done a video on the expenses of this which is linked here: ua-cam.com/video/t41epknogyU/v-deo.htmlsi=pNoKbIcxo79f-AN0 And you're right, the most power doesn't mean the most fun in all cases but there's a balance to it. I love the power level my car is at now and genuinely would do it all over again the same way if I had to 😎. The FN is a great car and styled ahead of it's time - glad you found the video helpful. I have a whole playlist dedicated to mods I've tried, advice and just the journey of the build should you be interested 👌🏾✌🏾
Perfect! I'm thrilled that you're enjoying it. It's an incredible car, and now, with this level of torque, it's the best. Which gear are you in at 14:53? I'm eagerly awaiting the installation of my K24 engine in my FN2, and I was genuinely curious about this video. My build is more intricate because we're changing nearly everything: cams, pistons, rods, springs, valves, and so on. We're aiming for 350hp and substantial torque, thanks to the 13.5 compression ratio. Still waiting..
That sounds like an immence build man!! That will be properly quick, believe me!! I was in 3rd/4th gear I believe, I no longer need lower gears to get going, like I used to join uphil slip roads in second with my old setup but not anymore. It's soooo ready to go all the time!
Class man! delighted for you and good to see how my car will turn out eventually too 😜 i cant wait to see how your going to mod the outside now! Its a proper sleeper though only thing that might give it away is the bbs hiding the brembo's haha im all for natural pops and burbles but the added in negative degree pops makes me feel bad for the car 🤣
Once I get my car on the road I would love to be a passenger if I'm ever nearby. Just to experience it compared to mine and see if I would really want K24. That's if it's possible. For now I will be finally moving from a R18 to the K20 sometime in october/november after 4years+ of owning the R18
My car is actually a 2011 model so it has the factory LSD. Someone suggested it to me actually but because of the way it accelerates and how it drives now, I feel like I like the balance of all of it really, I don't feel I need the longer sixth gear... Yet lol
Just stumbled upon your channel and man, I'm a fan. Howzit from South Africa.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 That's awesome. Where abouts are you from?
@@jsdriveway I'm from Pretoria in South Africa.
Fantastic build. I hope to get mine to that level someday 😁
I'd love to feel the difference between your FN2and a stock FN2
Thank you man.
If you're ever in Hertfordshire, let me know. Its worth the experience for sure
Sick ride! By the way, you’re allowed to split lanes like that!?? Low key that’s scary asf!
Yeah on that road alone though as its really, really wide. Overtakes are allowed there like that but with care of course. I'd never do it there with a lot of traffic
Don't track her. Relax and cruise on the sunset roads
I knoooow, it's sooo great right now but can't help but think it'll be seriously good on track!
i smiled and im not the one driving it ahaha
It's such a riot everytime I drive it. I never sit in it and regret me decision and I am never bored driving it. Always a smile giver

Yeah when it comes to the day and track, I'll let you know brooo!
Still undecided about the track but I'll message you about it off here haha

Yeah the styling will be interesting for a lot of people for sure but I think it'll be great!!
The unforced crackles and flames are nice
To nice to track maybe take it now and again
I'll take it slow lol. And I won't be doing it on these wheels that's for sure lol

Email me if you're ever in the area and I'll let you know if I'm about but I'll always let people experience it for sure
@@jsdriveway Sounds good, thanks in advance if it ever happens. Where abouts do you live? Just incase I ever head to your city/town or going past.
Bro it looks and sounds amazing tempted to break the bank and do the same to mine!
You can do it bit by bit and trust me, it's worth the wait. The power, sound and feel is much better than what the camera can show
Top video bud
Have you thought about doing LSD and or long 6th gear mods?
My car is actually a 2011 model so it has the factory LSD.
Someone suggested it to me actually but because of the way it accelerates and how it drives now, I feel like I like the balance of all of it really, I don't feel I need the longer sixth gear... Yet lol
@@jsdrivewayyou need to try a car with a plated LSD. Honda OEM LSD is awesome, but a proper plated LSD in a powerful FWD is a game changer. 👍🏻
I'll be looking into this for sure as the LSD I have only works when torque is applied.
What ones would you reccomend?
Track it and take it easy 😁👍
Yeah I'm going to. It'll have a baffled sump next month and then I'll track it a couple months after
Are those golf mk4 wheels
They look similar but no, they are called BBS CH-R Anthracites. I bought them from wheelbase.com
@@jsdriveway thanks for the fast reply bro. Love what youve done with your motor looks good 💯
Very much appreciated! Still got a long way to go too hahaha
Did it put your tax up?
