For those of you who are having trouble hearing through the distortion, I uploaded a set of subtitles within the past 24 hours from this post. It should make its way through moderation shortly. I got nearly everything but the most difficult stuff, but if Mr Eddie Woo could take a look over the submitted subtitles, maybe he can assist in the weaker points.
One example of chunking I can use is my journey learning to touch type. It was sort of like how I learned to count. First, I learned to count with single units. One, two, three, etc. I was kind of doing that with typing. As an example, typing DOG went like this: D, then O, then G. Instead of thinking of DOG as one word, and typing DOG as one action, I was thinking of typing DOG as three distinct actions. Only after realizing I should start chunking it all into one keystroke did I start typing at a reasonable speed. Kind of like how I don't think of 123 as 100 + 20 + 3. Obviously, remembering where all the keys are is important, and which fingers to use for each key, but until I began thinking of words as single keystrokes did my WPM pick up. Memory is so cool. It's like I'm programming my brain to do stuff automatically.
The mic is broken.

Eddie Woo -- Every time your arm brushes the device attached to your belt, your sound quality contains terrible static that is painful to listen to.
