    With the amount of channels buying old cars, putting a wrap, some new parts over dirty and rusty surfaces when ever I got a new video from you is refreshing. I love how you do things right, strip everything apart, fix, clean and reinforce everything and then build right. Love the way you work art and craftmanship alltogether

      Sounds like goonsquad 😂 i had to stop watching them when they kept doing wraps which themselves was poorly done then they would pretend they did an awesome job but the mess ups was easy to spot or they would go to sell some of the cars and have to disclose there was issues still when they would say the build was complete now they are working on a mclaren senna god help them they couldn't even sort a jeep track hawk or a Nissan 350z

      It's interesting to see MA with far more subscribers/likes and his approach, compared to someone actually fixing cars properly and the lack of them. It should be the reverse. Jack does an proper job. I know he helps MA sometimes, but he must think he's a hack.

    • @federicojpp
      @federicojpp 16 днів тому +2

      @@mattsaunders8448 The thing is MA and tavarish don't only fix cars, the produce content people want to see and even though I personally love full builds, attention to detail and specially engine builds those are still niche. People generally like more content they can relate to and not everyone can fix a car like Jack. But if like content like Jacks I also like Devin Niemela and the build Oliver Pickard is doing

    If anyone on UA-cam needs a paint booth, it's this channel. EVERYTIME he touches a paint gun it starts to rain. Paint booth companies could get some of the best advertisement for the price of one paint booth if they gave him one. Great work once again.

      They aren't exactly hard to make....... Nobody in thier right mind sprays outdoors anyway due to the very reason of what happened in the video, 100% a bug will land on it, and not to mention dust in the air.

      With the quater panel that is thin could you not have gone old school and lead loaded the panel and reshaped it just to add another level of metal there or would that have been to much . But have to say love all the videos you put out

    • @picklerick6988
      @picklerick6988 18 днів тому +1

      They sell inflatable paint booths for people that only do occasional paint jobs a proper paint booth isn't something that's going to be given away not to a channel this size anyway your talking about $50k for a decent one just to buy it before the costs of installing
      It would be cheaper and easier to buy the inflatable or rent a booth for a few days if he wanted to paint himself

    • @3rdworldgarage450
      @3rdworldgarage450 18 днів тому +2

      I think the issue is one of space. He's using Tavarish's shop, and not his own space. Plus, there are places in Florida that rent out paint booths. I used to rent one in Clearwater when I used to paint my own cars, but would prime at home. This was 20 years ago (has it been that long?) but I checked a few years back and it was still there.

    Jack, I think this is the overall best video in the series so far! You kept the (by now repetitive) summary/intro brief and got right into the work, showed a ton of progress, had some fun with the crew, and kept the hype to a minimum. I would definitely suggest you put some time (if you can find some...) into leveling out the audio - a lot of the time-lapse music was substantially quieter than your voice-over and piece-to-camera volume. Getting that dialed-in would add some nice polish to the production.
    Great work, man! I'm excited to see this turd get well and truly polished :)

    Jack, you are a true artisan and craftsman. I started out as a body frame and paint guy as well as some mechanic work before, I moved into my career as an aircraft technician. that background helped me immensely. Having a mentor throughout the years has been very important for me. My dad was a welder and we would talk about this type of work all the time. We would also talk about how the age of true craftsman is close to an end. My request to you is that you take on as many apprentices as possible so that we can have welders as good as you someday. Watching you work the metal alongside the previous repairs is like seeing a live before and after shot. Or a what to do and what not to do.

    This rotisserie reminds me of the long waited new chapter of Yorkshire Car Restoration with Mat's E24. Keep it up man! You've been upping your game (video production) in every post. I wish I was in Miami to learn from you all. Happy New Celica!!! I mean, Happy New Year to all of you reading my comment! ¡Feliz 2025!

    Hey as Magnus Walker always said "rust don't slow you down". As long as the frame is straight, and the mechanical bits are all in great working order, the body is mostly cosmetic. Can't wait to see this beast completed and slaying the streets!

    I saw a video the other day there is a US company that has developed a panel forming machine which doesnt require a template so they could literally form you a new quarter panel

    Jack, you've got the best job in the world! I know that's just my opinion, but I just retired (LEO) and had worked in a couple body shops in my twenties. I'd love to get back into it, even if I have to sand. Love your content!
