New update : -Rear speakers (8 inch PA). -Audiopipe tweeters. -New Monoblock 2000W. - Reinforced woofer pannel. The woofer was a little underpowered so after the upgrade to my new amp the bass was heavy and did the update to the rear speakers. Sounds great now.
In this setup with the trunk closed there is a much bigger spl build in the cabin and it Sounds nice with mid bass en low sub bass. Some songs almost pop your ear. Tones in this setup. 25hz - 160hz. ≈130db With a "sub woofer enclosure box" and speaker facing the back of the seat the sound got demped by the bmw's pretty good sound isolation so all the spl was absorbed so the sub tones almost dissapeared. Now with this speaker mounted like this i can almost count the bass tones really crisp pure bass. I am doing this for a wile now in my bmw e30 that i had owned my dad en brothers do it in their bmw's. You can hear my mid and high are amplified becouse the bass is really loud and the speaker really dousn't punch at his max.
can you help me man i got a 318i and weent to put a sub in but could find any good way to run the wires behind the head unit and how did you get the wires to the trunk? i dont know how to remove the top half of the backseat:(
hi mate i had the same problem i mangaged it to day after spending hours but ill post a vid on how i did it and you literly cant see any wires cheers hazzlepop

DDsandel is a speaker/amp/sub upgrade on an e36 easy? I was hearing that it was difficult due to the stock e36 amp and what not. I'm about to purchase a new sound system for my e36 but I'm worried I will run into troubles.
Well it's always smart to upgrade the e36's alternator to a 140A instead of a 80A, I did the same with my 328i and it honestly fixed some electrical gremlins.
When you run infinite baffle setups like this, you dont need much power at all to get that sub wanging. There's no resistance behind the cone like a sealed enclosure.
But to answer your question, it's always smart to upgrade your alt to a higher amperage output if you're adding non factory equipped electronics. If your headlights dim when the bass hits, get a bigger alt.
Really? Watch this video and see how bmw solved it with the M5 BMW E39 M5 M-Audio Subwoofer Install I do the same with a larger woofer and my sound levels and range are very nice.
First your link isn't an official BMW install nor is it OEM. Second you probably don't even have a free air type sub, and by now the sub is probably broken if he even tried to put it close to half, exact, or higher than RMS rated. The pressure difference of no box for a sub NOT made for it (eg free air sub) means the coil/cone will break eventually.
I like This music Bro 🔥🔥
Infinite baffle 😍
how did you mount this thing ? I have the same problem and cant create the sub sound in my car... did u take the whole back seat out ?

Hi, would this setup work in a bmw e36 convertible?
Yes, same trunk
@@Jason-gt2kx but there is a roof in the trunk
More efficient=louder if you put the seats down, you need to allow this subwoofer to breath.
No box.!? 🤣
How does it sound in the cabin?
Heavy and clear
with that much power, did you upgrade your alternator ?
