- Ahmed Deedat Debate with Pastor Eric Bock in Stockholm.
Born in the Surat district of India in 1918, Ahmed Hoosen Deedat had no recollection of his father untill 1926. His father a tailor by profession had emigrated to South Africa shortly after the birth of Ahmed Deedat.
• With no formal education and fighting off the extreme pangs of poverty, he went to South Africa in 1927 to be with his father. His farewell to his mother in India in 1927 was the last time he saw her alive for she passed away a few months later.
• In a foreign land, a boy of nine with no formal schooling nor any command of the English language he began preparing for the role he was to play decades later without realizing it.
• Applying himself with diligence to his studies, the little boy not only was able to overcome the language barrier but excelled in school. His avid passion for reading helped him gain promotions until he completed standard 6. Lack of finance interrupted his schooling and at the early age of about 16 he took on the first of many jobs in retailing.
• The most significant of these was in 1936 where he worked at a Muslim owned store near a Christian seminary on the Natal South Coast. The incessant insults of the trainee missionaries hurled against Islam during their brief visits to the store infused a stubborn flame of desire within the young man to counteract their false propaganda.
• As fate would have it, Ahmad Deedat discovered by pure chance a book entitled Izharal-Haq, meaning the Truth revealed. This book recorded the techniques and enormous success of the efforts of Muslims in India in turning the tables against Christian missionary harassment during the British subjugation and rule of India. In particular the idea of holding debates had a profound effect on Ahmed Deedat.
• Armed with this new found zeal, Ahmed Deedat purchased his first Bible and began holding debates and discussions with the trainee missionaries. When they beat a hasty retreat in the face of his incisive counter arguments, he personally called on their teachers and even priests in the surrounding areas to discuss and debate topical issues of the day.
• These successes spurred Ahmed Deedat in the direction of Da’wah. Not even his marriage, birth of Children and a 3 year sohourn to Pakistan after its independence dampened his enthusiasm or dulled his desire to defend Islam .
• With missionary zeal to project the truth and the pure clinical beauty of Islam, Ahmed Deedat immersed hiself into a host of activities over the next three decades. He conducted classes on Bible studies and gave numerous lectures. He established the As-Salaam, an institute to train propagators of Islam. He, together with his family, almost single-handedly erected the buildings including the masjid which is still a landmark today.
• He was a founder member of the Islamic Propagation Centre International (IPCI) and became its President. He has published over 20 books and distributed milions of copies free of charge. He has delivered thousand of lectures all over the world and successfully engaged Christian Evangelists in public debates. Several thousand people have come into the fold of Islam as a result of these efforts.
• In a fitting tribute to this monumental achievement, he was awarded the King Faisal International award in 1986, a prestigious recognition of enormous value in the world of Islam.
• No number of awards and honours can truly capture the man’s essence and zeal for Islam. This anthology of books is no exception. It demonstrates Sheikh Deedat’s analytical compilations drawn from personal encounters and experiences against many prevailing distortions.
• In 1996 Shaikh Ahmed Deedat suffered from a serious stroke and remained paralysed and bedridden for 9 years. On 8th August, 2005 he passed away. May Allah (swt) bless his soul with Jannatul Firdous for his path-breaking and excellent efforts for Daw’ah of Islam worldwide as well as reigniting the spirit of self-esteem and renaissance amongst millions of Muslims the world over.

Ahmed Deedat is a goodman,
but he was not able to answer the massive contradictions in quran & hadith.
Many sinful unholy actions. He cannot accept the records in the Quran that Muhammad lied to the people..covering up by saying it was Allah who told him.
Many intellectual muslims saw the game played by muhammed have left islam.
Their eyes opened & saw evidence of muhammad's actions, teachings, in t hv e Quran are in massive contradictions and attempts by muhammad to cover up by saying Allah told him. Aisha muhammad's wife have given many indications that Muhammad was lying.
I miss Ahmed deedat. May Allah be pleased with him. He's the greatest speaker for Islam and he was never able to be touched. I was a Christian before I found Islam. Alhumdillah I found Islam. But while I was a Christian there are many questions I had that no priest or minister could answer. Ahmed deedat answered all my questions and I'm very thankful for that. May Allah Grant him Jenna and maybe inshallah I can meet him in the next life

Ahmed Dedat is a huge source of inspiration. I personally, having been a Christian for long and having gotten little education to be able to study and understand the bible on my own and not just what the religious leaders have been telling me, is coming to terms with certain truths. Among others, the bible has a lot of hidding contradictions. The learned Ahmed Dedat has come to bring them to light. May Allah reward him.
Stay in the original truth my friend:
Through Christ, God gave us back the divine life mankind lost in its fall. Hence the divine healing miracles and casting out of demons, we experience up to this day.
To not see God in Christ.... is impossible.
"The Father and I are one!"
"If you see Me, you see the Father!"
"Don't you believe that the Father is IN Me?"
"ALL (!) AUTHORITY in heaven and earth has been given to Me!". (Only God has all authority).
At healing the paralytic: "Your sins have been forgiven you!" (Only God can forgive sins).
"I am THE (not a) light of the world"......: God.
"I have come to give you Zoë (=divine life) in abundance".... Only God can give Zoë life.
"I am from above, you are from beneath. You are from this world, I am not from this world".....
Etc, etc, etc,
When He explained these things, healed the sick, casted out demons, raised the dead, controlled nature for 3 years, they all worshipped Him as God/Messiah.... except for the critical scholars and farisees!
He NEVER said: "Don't worship Me, I am just a prophet!". The Jews wanted to stone Him because: "You claim to be God".
So Jesus is God manifesting in Human form. Period. Glad He did. So now we finally know the sayings and actions of God.
Next step.
To not see Jesus bringing the divine life of the ages back to you-manity.... is impossible.

As i understood these things, i experienced healing miracles and the casting out of demons already thousands of times and many other true believers do too. Yay!
Conclusion of Paul after having revelation and healing all on Malta: "Jesus, the exact image of the invisible God. The fullness of deity dwells in Jesus bodily" and you have been made complete IN Him (the last Adam), who is the head of every principality and power".
John (who had seen, touched, heard Jesus and walked in the same power and love): "the invisible God manifested in human form, in Christ and now in us".
Thomas having revelation saying to Jesus: "My Lord and My God!". Jesus being God did NOT correct Him.
Etc, etc, etc.
His life totally proves He is God in human form. Begotten by the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God, healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, raised from the dead, pouring out His Spirit for us to be indwelled by to be empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons, etc, etc, etc.
Way to much to degrade Him to "just a prophet".
So... Jesus is the manifestation of God in a human body.... "the Son" of God. He came to take the alienation away mankind got trapped in after the fall. He came to give us back the divine life Adam/mankind lost in its fall.
Because of this fall, a perfect Holy sacrifice had to be made. That is what God did in Christ! It shows His deep, pure, affectionate passion from Him to you/His creation, to restore you back to origin: Christlikeness. Walking in divine power and unselfish divine love.
Jesus walked flawless. Muhammed on the other hand....
Muhammed came after Jesus. He unfortunately never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall, wrote another story, called it the only truth, cutting of the real truth, leading millions astray from their godly identity in Christ. Heartbreaking.
But for those who take Jesus for who He is and ask to be filled by His godly Holy Spirit.....: divine life. Tangible presence of God, healings, demons running for cover, etc. Just as with His first 12+72 friends.
God will make you experience the full (godly) Life made possible through Holy Spirit.
So don't be afraid to leave islam. God can only be found in/through Jesus Christ.
Ask Him to fill you with His/God's Holy Spirit so He can guide you into truth and transform your life. You and God/Jesus are finally one again. He will open your eyes and give you Zoë (divine life). You will be growing into Him in all things. The life you see in Him and His first 12+72 friends.

Akbar - Unlike your view, Deedat was exposed as a poor liar and preacher to deceive the ignorant in order to disbelieve Jesus as God in Christianity … when he ignored many Biblical divine phrases reserved for God Only? For example:
(1) Jesus declared "I am the first and the last, the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever." (Rev 1:17) . Is the phrase "The First and the Last" simply means the true God in the Bible? ??
(2) Jesus revealed his true divinity that He exists with His Father (ie. God)... BEFORE … the universe was created (John 17:5, 1-5). Can a regular prophet exist with God before the creation???
(3) Jesus revealed He "has the Authority to forgive sins" (Mark 2:5-10, Luke 7:48-49). Can a prophet forgive sins ???
(4) Jesus revealed He "sent prophets and wise men to man." (Matthew 23:34). Note that Only God can do it, and Only God can send Himself to Man!!!
@@sgma4m if you read john chapter 16 verse 12 to 14 "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.' , which means that jesus was expected that another prophet will come after him to guide all mankind to all truth which is prophet mohamed PBUH , if you tell me it is the holy spirit , according to your bible , holy spirit was there even before the birth of jesus , and in this verse , it talks about another person coming which wasn't there before . and if you read also isaiah chapter 29 verse 12 ""Then the book will be given to the one who is illiterate, saying, 'Please read this.' And he will say, 'I cannot read." , this verse confirm what i've said earlier about the prophete mohamed PBUH , because he was the only prophet illiterate , and he reserve reveals from angel gabriel , and even in a chapter in the quran it confirmes what is in isaiah chapter 29 verse 12 , you can also read deutronomy chapter 18 verse 18-19 which says clearly "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him. 19 I myself will call to account anyone who does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name." , so i hope that you analyze your bible logically and with a open mind to find the truth because as jesus PBUH said " seeking the truth and the truth shall free you ' so i hope brother that you can find the truth
@@amineouerdani8692 - What a poor Muslim! The Muslim teacher Deedat poorly speculated and interpreted those Biblical verses out of context … when he imagined God is one like "one single super being" behind a veil in high sky only faraway from man on earth.
For John 16:12-14, it did not support Deedat's speculation for Moh... b/c Jesus clearly mentioned to "the HS" (ie. a divine member in the Trinity God) (NOT another prophet) who will come to "his disciples" (NOT come to "the Arabs or people" 700 years later ).
And as promised, Deedat ignored that the HS already appeared as the tongue fire on the head of each disciple in the Pentecost day (40 days after Jesus' ascension). Deedat clearly deceived the naïve Muslims with his poor speculation. Agreed?
And for Isaiah 29, it did not support Moh's illiteracy story too... b/c the whole context in Isaiah 29 mentioned to false prophets and seers. Study the context in details as below:
Isaiah 29:11 mentioned to... the literate... "And if you give the scroll to someone WHO CAN READ, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” ",
And Isaiah 29:12 mentioned to... the illiterate too... "Or if you give the scroll to someone who CANNOT READ, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.” "
And Isaiah 29:13 4 finally exposed these people are just hypocrites... "The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught."
Sorry for Deedat and the Hadiths writers, the story "I cannot read" in cave exposed the falsification and deception in Islam when it satisfied the prophesies in Isaiah 29. Moreover, many Muslims did not concern the fact that Moh's first wife cooperated with her cousin Waraqah (who can read, but blind later) ... who FIRST founded Islam by naming one strange dark spirit in cave as Angel Gabriel and declaring Moh was prophet... whereas Moh himself believed this strange spirit as a terrible demon who terrified him to death so that he attempted suicide several times to escape from his fear and obsession,

My Grandfather's uncle was doing the same thing like Sh Ahmad Deedat did, he memorize not just Qur'an but also the Bible and Torah, but instead of going into the city he was doing it in the rural area, and my mom tell me that her grandfather (my Grandfather's uncle) was learning this style of dawah from his teacher who was a Jewish rabii who converted to Islam during his stay in mecca as a Muslim merchant.

1. Promoting Social Equality and Justice
“O you, who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.” [Quran, 4: 135]
2. Islam forbid indecency, evil acts and wrongful transgression.
“Indeed, Allah enjoins justice, and the doing of good to others; and giving like kindred; and forbids indecency, and manifest evil, and wrongful transgression. He admonished that you take heed” (Al Quran 16:90)
3. Islam recommend that we are kind to our parents!
23. “Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour.”
24. “And, out of kindness, lower to them the wing of humility, and say “My Lord! bestow on them thy Mercy even as they cherished me in childhood” (Al Quran 17:23-24)
4. Islam recommend that we repel evil deeds with better deeds!
That means if someone does evil to you you do good to that person.
“And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend”
(Al Quran 41:34)
5. Islam recommend Muslims to give out charity!
“Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah (this Quran), and perform the prayers, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, they hope for a (sure) trade-gain that will never perish” ( Al Quran 35:29)
This is just the tip of the iceberg I can still provide you with more of this if you want! So now tell me all the teachings I have just quoted from the Quran which one of the is not a good thing?

Islam simply copied them, but Islam still exposed something worse. For example, as for the typical equality, the facts exposed Islam did not have any concept about equality.
1/ The Quran exposed a great discrimination in sex and gender when it considered one male is equal to 2 females in the heritage and testimony/witness law.
2/ And for marriage law, the Quran allowed polygamy for male (not many husbands for female) and also promised sex by rewarding each male with many (72) virgin wives after his death.
3/ Worse, the Quran considered woman's duty as a birth machine, an obedient babysitter and housekeeper, and a sex pleasure as desired for male

When He explained these things, healed the sick, casted out demons, raised the dead, controlled nature for 3 years, they all worshipped Him as God/Messiah.... except for the critical scholars and farisees!
He NEVER said: "Don't worship Me, I am just a prophet!". The Jews wanted to stone Him because: "You claim to be God".
So Jesus is God manifesting in Human form. Period. Glad He did. So now we finally know the sayings and actions of God.

His life totally proves He is God in human form. Begotten by the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God, healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, raised from the dead, pouring out His Spirit for us to be indwelled by to be empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons, etc, etc, etc.

So... Jesus is the manifestation of God in a human body.... "the Son" of God. He came to take the alienation away mankind got trapped in after the fall. He came to give us back the divine life Adam/mankind lost in its fall.
Because of this fall, a perfect Holy sacrifice had to be made. That is what God did in Christ! It shows His deep, pure, affectionate passion from Him to you/His creation, to restore you back to origin: Christlikeness. Walking in divine power and unselfish divine love.
Jesus walked flawless. Muhammed on the other hand....
Muhammed came after Jesus. He unfortunately never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall, wrote another story, called it the only truth, cutting of the real truth, leading millions astray from their godly identity in Christ. Heartbreaking.
But for those who take Jesus for who He is and ask to be filled by His godly Holy Spirit.....: divine life. Tangible presence of God, healings, demons running for cover, etc. Just as with His first 12+72 friends.
God will make you experience the full (godly) Life made possible through Holy Spirit.
So don't be afraid to leave islam. God can only be found in/through Jesus Christ.
Ask Him to fill you with His/God's Holy Spirit so He can guide you into truth and transform your life. You and God/Jesus are finally one again. He will open your eyes and give you Zoë (divine life). You will be growing into Him in all things. The life you see in Him and His first 12+72 friends.

For other examples:
(1) Jesus declared "I am the first and the last, the one who lives. Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever." (Rev 1:17) . Is the phrase "The First and the Last" simply means the true God in the Bible? ??
(2) Jesus revealed his true divinity that He exists with His Father (ie. God)... BEFORE … the universe was created (John 17:5, 1-5). Can a regular prophet exist with God before the creation???
(3) Jesus revealed He "has the Authority to forgive sins" (Mark 2:5-10, Luke 7:48-49). Can a prophet forgive sins ???
(4) Jesus revealed He "sent prophets and wise men to man." (Matthew 23:34). Note that Only God can do it, and Only God can send Himself to Man!!!
(5) Jesus rejected human view at His time about Him as prophet and He also confirmed He is the Son of God (Matthew 16:13-17, Mark 8:27-29, Luke 9:18-20). And Jesus' Transfiguration also showed His Father confirmed Jesus is His Son (Matthew 17:1-13, Mark 9:2-13, Luke 9:28-36).
(6) Jesus also called who denied His death and Resurrection for human concern was SATAN (Matthew 16:23, Mark 8:33).
So, by Jesus, could the Quran author be SATAN and ONE ANTICHRIST???

Again and again I take my hat off for Ahmed Deedat. Brought light to the ordinary Christians when the preachers were knit picking verses to line their pockets with tithes..
The critical issue is whether or not Deedat read and understood the Word in the whole Bible properly?
To interpret the word of Jesus in John 10:30 properly, you should understand and interpret it with His Biblical God concept (NOT with the Quran view later about God limited in "1 single being behind a veil in sky".
As a result, Deedat's interpretation is ... out of context, and it also contradicted with the Jews' view in this verse! Here are some critical points, step by step, in this context:
(1) First, the Jews kept questioning Jesus about whether or not Jesus is the "true Messiah" in their Jewish knowledge (NOT about God, the Father, or the Quran view!
(2) Next, Jesus answered, HE (ie. Jesus) ALREADY TOLD THEM, but the issue is WHY they kept refusing to believe it ... And Jesus explained one reason that they were not in His sheep ... simply because His Father did not choose them.
(3) But, how to contact the Father to verify the Father's will? At last, Jesus said "I and the Father are one" although Jesus was in a naked human form. Immediately, the Jews considered his statement was a clear blasphemy to them, and they tried to stone Jesus.
"We are not stoning You for any good work, but for 'blasphemy', because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.” (John 10:33).
As for the term "One", "One" here did not mean "One purpose". WHY? Because Jesus exposed 2 persons "I and the Father" to echo the critical teaching about the Biblical God with His holy personal name YHWH (ie. the Lord) - "Hear, O Israel! the Lord, our God, is ONE" (Deut 6:4). So, by literal, "One" simply means "Uniqueness".
Who is unique or incomparable to anything? It is God only! If the person (called as the Divine Father) is God, then Jesus (called as the Son) MUST BE God or Divine too.
More interestingly, if the Divine Father of Jesus in the Bible is God, then it also revealed God in the Quran (who was not the Father of Jesus!) could be one FALSE God, Satan in disguise, or one mythical deity for one funny worship around one stone!

Conclusion of Paul after having revelation and healing all on Malta: "Jesus, the exact image of the invisible God. The fullness of deity dwells in Jesus bodily" and you have been made complete IN Him (the last Adam), who is the head of every principality and power".
John (who had seen, touched, heard Jesus and walked in the same power and love): "the invisible God manifested in human form, in Christ and now in us".
Thomas having revelation saying to Jesus: "My Lord and My God!". Jesus being God did NOT correct Him.
Etc, etc, etc.
His life totally proves He is God in human form. Begotten by the Spirit of God, filled with the spirit of God, healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, raised from the dead, pouring out His Spirit for us to be indwelled by to be empowered to heal the sick and cast out demons, etc, etc, etc.
Way to much to degrade Him to "just a prophet".
So... Jesus is the manifestation of God in a human body.... "the Son" of God. He came to take the alienation away mankind got trapped in after the fall. He came to give us back the divine life Adam/mankind lost in its fall.
Because of this fall, a perfect Holy sacrifice had to be made. That is what God did in Christ! It shows His deep, pure, affectionate passion from Him to you/His creation, to restore you back to origin: Christlikeness. Walking in divine power and unselfish divine love.
Jesus walked flawless. Muhammed on the other hand....
Muhammed came after Jesus. He unfortunately never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall, wrote another story, called it the only truth, cutting of the real truth, leading millions astray from their godly identity in Christ. Heartbreaking.

Only God can judge and give man "eternal life". Who is Jesus Christ, God or Prophet, when Jesus will give man eternal life?

You see, even if you view Jesus as merely a prophet, you would have to agree that this promise makes Him more than just a prophet. I would encourage you or anyone reading this to simply open the New Testament and read the words of Jesus Christ. You'll see that His words and promises are unique. Perhaps when you read His words, you will put your faith in Him as I did. Here's another wonderful promise that He makes: "whoever comes to me I will never drive away" (John 6:37)
