Jesus Comforts His Disciples
14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”

9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Born in the Surat district of India in 1918, Ahmed Hoosen Deedat had no recollection of his father untill 1926. His father a tailor by profession had emigrated to South Africa shortly after the birth of Ahmed Deedat.
• With no formal education and fighting off the extreme pangs of poverty, he went to South Africa in 1927 to be with his father. His farewell to his mother in India in 1927 was the last time he saw her alive for she passed away a few months later.
• In a foreign land, a boy of nine with no formal schooling nor any command of the English language he began preparing for the role he was to play decades later without realizing it.
• Applying himself with diligence to his studies, the little boy not only was able to overcome the language barrier but excelled in school. His avid passion for reading helped him gain promotions until he completed standard 6. Lack of finance interrupted his schooling and at the early age of about 16 he took on the first of many jobs in retailing.
• The most significant of these was in 1936 where he worked at a Muslim owned store near a Christian seminary on the Natal South Coast. The incessant insults of the trainee missionaries hurled against Islam during their brief visits to the store infused a stubborn flame of desire within the young man to counteract their false propaganda.
• As fate would have it, Ahmad Deedat discovered by pure chance a book entitled Izharal-Haq, meaning the Truth revealed. This book recorded the techniques and enormous success of the efforts of Muslims in India in turning the tables against Christian missionary harassment during the British subjugation and rule of India. In particular the idea of holding debates had a profound effect on Ahmed Deedat.
• Armed with this new found zeal, Ahmed Deedat purchased his first Bible and began holding debates and discussions with the trainee missionaries. When they beat a hasty retreat in the face of his incisive counter arguments, he personally called on their teachers and even priests in the surrounding areas to discuss and debate topical issues of the day.

Everybody is born pure, free of sin and born with the natural disposition that there is only one God. It is their parents that tell them to worship humans, animals, nature or statues. Even though i was raised as a muslim, i chose to follow islam because i believe in the one true God who all of the messengers worshipped and prayed it. If you believe in this too, then technically speaking you already have the same belief as a muslim. All you need to do is verbally say what your heart already believes. As for prayers, fasts etc. this will all come later on , and there is lots of support if you need help with this.

A lot of Muslims also listen to recitation of the Qur’an and I’m not sure I’ll ever reach the point where I can listen to the recitation and not hear it as just a foreign language when it’s supposed to mean more than that…I feel hopeless because I believe that there’s no God but Allah and Mohammed (pbuh) is is final messenger .

The best advice i can give is that all actions start with intention. Allah rewards people for good intentions alone. Best thing to do is to form the intention that you really want this, and when alone, talk to Allah and ask Him to help you and make this journey super easy for you. You will see how Allah supports you and opens doors you didnt even imagine. At the end of the day, He is controlling everything.
Most of the conpanions of the Prophet (peace) were converts (100,000 of them before he died) and every one of them had their own journey. Regarding the acts of worship, dont worry about those at all, as it comes naturally. Thinking about it beforehand will obviously put you off.
When you convert, you are a new born baby, so allow yourself to take very gradual baby steps. You dont need to do everything at once.
Also you can hide it from your family if u wish. I wouldnt let them put you off converting though, as they wont be with you after you die.

Well Deedat is talking a lot of nonsense in this 'lecture'.
First of all Deedat claimed that every prophet was the way to God. But never did a prophet say that he himself is the only way to the Father. Except Jesus Christ. And second never did Jesus Christ say that He Himself as Salvation was only valid for His time. On the contrary Jesus Christ ordered to spread His Gospel to all nations. And He said that His Gospel of the Kingdom will be spread to all nations and then the end will come. So Deedat was lying.
Also the statement by Deedat that the Paracletos, Spirit of truth is Muhammad is very wrong. If you read John 14-16 then it will become clear that the Paracletos does NOT fit Muhammad at all. First of all in John 14-16 Jesus Christ was speaking to His disciples. And Deedat deliberately omitted that important detail. But Muhammad was NOT with the disciples. Muhammad was NOT in the disciples after Jesus Christ's ascension. Muhammad was NOT sent in Jesus name. Muhammad was NOT the Holy Spirit. Muhammad did NOT teach the disciples. Muhammad did NOT remember the disciples everything what Jesus Christ has said to them. Muhammad is NOT sent by Jesus Christ. Muhammad did NOT testify about Jesus Christ to the disciples. Muhammad did NOT guide the disciples in all truth. Muhammad did NOT disclose it to the disciples. Muhammad did NOT glorify Jesus Christ. Muhammad did NOT become his 'revelation' from Jesus Christ. So the Paracletos is definitely NOT Muhammad.

Evidently the gospels is ABOUT Jesus ... not OF J esus.
The writers plagarized certain words from the Torah and fit it into the mouth of Jesus. For example Psalms 37: 11 vis-a-vis Matthew 5: 5. Jesus was made as a doll for the ventriloquists who wrote it. There were/are many many more ventriloquists from then on till today, and preachers also keep reading things in which is not there in the texts.

Let's take a look at the verse in question:
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father but through me." John 14:6
Mr. Deedat is stating that Jesus Christ (peace comes from Him) was merely stating that we should follow His example. In verse, 14:1, He is saying we should believe in Him. In verses 14:2 and 14:3, He is saying that He will prepare a place in eternity for us. In verse 14:13, He says that whatever we ask the Father in Christ's name will be done for us. In John 14:27, Christ promised to leave His peace with us.
I agree with Mr. Deedat that we all need to read the New Testament with an open mind. I would suggest that we all read John 14 (and even John 15 and 16) without commentary, and see what Jesus Christ is actually saying. It's hard to read those passages and conclude that Jesus is merely giving us an example to follow. No prophet has ever spoken like Jesus Christ.

Christians subconsciously think they will decieve God in the Day of Judgment, by saying"we believed that you killed your son Jesus to wash our sin, now let us in heaven" But God knows all our inner motives, namely:
"we chose Christianity because it is our forefather religion: meaning tradition" and some would say "Because it is comfy and easy all I have to do is to believe that you have a son and you killed him to wash my sin, this way I can enjoy both, the worldly life and the heavenly life " But don’t they believe that God knows their hidden motives? God know that you have huge doubt about trinity, and God having a son, yet you cling to it!
The word God , lord, creator etc, in the bible is counted to be over 11,000 times yet NOT once it says the most important thing Christian wants to hear "I am God Jesus " or "worship my son Jesus". Further, the words "trinity" and "Christianity" is not mentioned in the bible. HOW come? This is because God, although did not promise to protect the bible as he did with quran, is full of mercy. He did not allow early fathers to corrupt the text too far, So the real Jesus followers may ponder and reflect on how can this be possible: our most important creed, and trinity is missing from our holy text. that is mercy of God which then lead to the justice of God: knowing all this if you insist in this comfy religion and die as Trinitarian or Jesus worshiper you will have no excuse in day of judgment because there is no such line in the bible that say "God is Jesus" or "Jesus is my son worship me and him" and Islam came to remind you of it. Isa 7:14 is not referring to Jesus, that is referencing Isaiah's second son to be born. And if it was Jesus, then who called Jesus Emmanuel? No where. If people read in context starting in Chapter 7 and reading Chapter 8, it would make more sense. Not what they have been taught in churches.

NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE THIS STATEMENT IF HE WAS NOT THE FATHER HIMSELF! (Isiah 9:6 “everlasting FATHER”). On “Immanuel” which means "God is with us" DEEDAT purposefully hid the first part of the verse... "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, A VIRGIN shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel" ...In order to make it easier for him TO LIE, as he always does!! Ahmad Deedat did not want to mention "A VIRGIN will give birth" because then it will be impossible for him to unleash that LIE about mention of Jesus. Because Jesus is the only one ever born of a virgin NOT MOHAMMAD,...Immanuel is Jesus !! Isaiah 7:14, Matt 1:23. This does not mean, however, that the Messiah’s name would actually be Immanuel. Immanuel is one of the many titles for Jesus, a description of who He is. Isaiah prophesied of the Messiah, “His name SHALL BE CALLED Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). In Mathew it quoted the name of Jesus as Immanuel. Jesus was known to many as Immanuel also. This is why there Hymns sang in Churches called Immanuel. JESUS IS GOD
