You should visit in the spring. One entire hillside is covered in Daffodils. It's called Daffodil Hill. It is breathtaking.

You have so have to go back when Garfield's tomb is open. As you might have seen in my video it's quite incredible, but you have to see it in person. Plus I can't believe I missed Salisbury! I've been eating Salisbury steak my whole life! Another great video!

Thanks Chris. As you're probably AWARE, since you're from Kentucky. We had some HORRIBLE STORMS that took out ALOT!!!! We just got our Power back late last night, and the internet, just a few minutes ago. UNFORTUNATELY, there are still many without POWER. Please pray for them. As far as President Garfield; you did an INCREDIBLE JOB!!!! Many, including myself, don't know much about him. Thank-You for telling his story.

I'm a native Clevelander and Lake View is a standard regular visit. I don't think there's a section w/o someone of note. Wade Memorial Chapel has Tiffany stained glass windows. (Jeptha Wade founded Western Union)
Garfield is also the only President who was also an ordained minister.
Rockefeller's obelisk is the second largest monument, after the Garfield Memorial.
For non famous memorials, near the Euclid Avenue entrance stands the large marker for the worst loss of life in a school fire (non explosion) in US History - the 1908 Ash Wednesday Collinwood School Fire. 172 children, 2 teachers and 1 rescuer died. About 19 of them are buried together near this memorial. Probably the saddest moment in Cleveland's long storied history.

Thanks for your comment. I actually recorded at that monument and will have a video coming soon.

@@Whittdocs I have several books (one self published by the author) on it, and have been to quite a few lectures on it. I consider myself somewhat of an expert - since many inconsistencies are still passed down to this day. Please let your viewers know that the doors DID NOT open inwards, causing the students to get trapped. That's the biggest fallacy.
I hope you were able to see the Collinwood Memorial Garden which was planted on the grounds of the original school. (Of course it's probably dull this time of year, with no flowers blooming yet.)
If you have any questions, let me know.

What a beautiful and interesting place to visit! I would like to go there every day for at least a week. The monuments are works of art. A nice place for a quiet picnic lunch, too. I hope that you have a chance to visit once again when you can view the Garfield Mausoleum. Perhaps it might have stained glass windows!
