Would You Treat Your Dog to a $75 Meal?

- Dogue is a new restaurant in San Francisco that caters to the canine set. You won’t find dried kibble or table scraps here. Dogue’s menu was created for the most discerning of puppy palates, by a classically trained chef. The chef says he consults with a veterinarian to ensure all of Dogue's meals are safe. The tasting menu runs $75 per pooch and comes with a mimosa for the human. No dog will want to go back to kibble after this!
This guy literally went to school to learn how to be the perfect chef for dogs. Yeah, I know a dog-lover when I see one. Good to see he’s earning handsomely from it too.
Dude was smart enough to know people waste money on dogs. Genius
@Video Toys Tv My dog did not eat everything. She was picky and would spit out cheap doggy treats.
@Video Toys Tv True! Even their own 🤮 …
You need to go to school to learn common sense? I guess what they say is true. Common sense is not so common.
@Video Toys Tv my dog tried to eat a rock one time
These dogs definitely eat better than I do.
They eat better than half of the people on earth that live off 5 dollars or less a day. This meal is someone’s whole monthly salary.
me worrying abt the ingredients in mine's food while eating day old guac
I think I’d give this to my dog for his last meal. It’s gotta be a memorial one for sure!
Ayoow😂😂

Why LAST meal? Give them their roses while they’re here & cherish every moment you have with them
I unfortunately lost my Boxer just about a year ago now and because he had certain health issues he was ONLY able to eat and digest certain food, anything outside of that wrecked havoc on his stomach and intestines so meals like these weren't simply an option regardless. That being said for his last meal, he got anything he wanted. Makes me tear up just typing this..
May he rest in peace i lost my Chihuahua Yorkie mix and she was everything to me she was the sweetest dog i know how you feel :(
Neat business idea! Definitely a rarity for most people, if ever 🤷🏽♀️ I love my sausage dog but it’s not an ideal time to consider spending $75 on the tasting menu 😬
I hope he donates food for homeless dogs/ cats too.
You no that don't
My dog will inhale a cheap milkbone biscuit so he wouldn't even taste this food.
When the chef is told ,by the food critic, that his food is for the dogs, He agrees.
I actually like the idea. A restaurant specifically made for dogs.
I would do it once in a lifetime just for the experience Your dog lives once good memory
If I were rich I’d definitely treat my dogs to those meals but those prices aren’t for the average person.
They will choose a piece of raw meat of whatever that fancy thing is in a heartbeat.
75 dollars? Some people eat that much for a week! I love my dogs and always take care of them but goodness, 75? I'll rather buy him toys and sweaters for more than that rather than spending it on something he would finish in minutes. I get the message, but not worth it, and plus the "organic" part...well... you could do it yourself too! And hell it'll probably be more fun cooking for your little buddy than getting rip off I guess.
Do it!
Why would I pay 75 bucks to feed a pet when people could barely afford groceries.
I know right!
Rich people with extra income.
😂
Thank you.
Exactly!
No, but I would definitely pay for my cat🤣
No. one and i mean no one is brave enough for a building full of random cats
@@bobbob5007 I love random cats
@@bobbob5007 Speak for yourself! That sounds like heaven to me.
@@BobRossCat ur terryfying lol
@@bobbob5007 why? I'd rather that than a room of dogs :(
I'd spend anything just to see him one more day 😔🖤
That’s sad sorry
I'm sorry for your loss. R.I.P :(.
Dogs will eat their own turds, so there's that
For $75 me my son and my husband and my two dogs could eat for at least 5 days decent meals I don't think I'll be spending that on one meal for a dog!
The crazy cost is because it's IN SAN FRANCISCO! You're going to already be spending ten bucks on morning coffee if you're there! Surely this would be more like 35 if outside or CA or New England.
I can't even afford to eat a 75 dollar meal less giving it to a animal goes to show how much only the few have and so many people don't
🤣
Cry about it
@@Ricky-gx3ns
Because feeding an animal a 75 $ meal is pathetic ,and they aren t even sapient enought to enjoy it more than a steak or regular dog food .
Exactly. Hilarious how much people lack common sense
I personally think this is a spectacular idea. If people have the ability to shell out $75 per tasting for their beloved pup then by all means. However, I do hope they expand their menu to more affordable meals and treats as well. Maybe some a la carte stuff too.
$75 for a meal? That’s ludicrous. I spend almost $200 on groceries and at a restaurant the most I will spend is $37 at best.
People spending $75 for a dog meal have lost their minds 😐
What's wrong with people spending money on who/what they love? Sounds like they got money to spend, what's the issue
You say it like it's an every day thing like lunch, no. For most it's a one time treat because they live their pets
@@noelr1010 I find it hilarious that some people talk about not being able to afford most things, but then they turn around and spend $8 on a Starbucks coffee or spend tons of money on Avocado toast.
$75 on dog food is the point where if you do end up broke, then that's your own problem.
@@BobRossCat A few times is alright, but an everyday occurrence would be idiotic.
@@Roasty420 Yeah definitely if it was daily. I just thought you meant even just one time
Love this!! I’d love to see more locations pop up. 😍😍😍
This is actually pathetic. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a dog maybe invest that money into helping homeless. Pretty sad that we treat animals better than we do human beings
@@fringeminority3224 it is San Francisco in 2022, so not too surprising that it sounds like a shitpost news story from onion.
I’m gonna have to drive down to SF this weekend to try it out. Thank you!👏👏👏
Keep us updated 💯
Imagine your dog Is eating better than you....🤣
Considering the fact I spent 640$ for my cats I would definitely pay 75$ for a dog if I had one
Had bout 85,000 in our little girl when we lost her at 15 years,3 days, only child. Wife once said "you love that dog more than you love me" my response "that's 'cause Molly loves me more than you do ". She ate very well, so did the wife, the love of a dog is like that of a mother , unconditional, we miss her every day, treat them like family!!!
I would give my dog this for his B-day
I wouldn't pay this much for a dog to eat!
I have no problem w this and actually love it! And then he started trying to be a veterinary specialist in nutrition and inside edition helped him w that! Thanks chef, demonizing kibble is super popular, trendy right now! This man knows nothing about animal nutrition science. He is a chef.
Kibble being garbage is a no-brainer. All one has to do is look at it and read the ingredients, doesn't take a genius or specialist.
@@hahna77 okay doctor Dunning Kruger :) take care
$75 damn!!!
But it's a problem feeding a human 👀👀🤔
I love my dog but to be honest his palate isn’t that refined that I’d need to spend this much on a meal for it to be a treat. ❤️🐶
i wish my dog was like that. my mom bought kirkland brand treats from costco for the dog and he refused to eat them. he only eats gourmet treats that cost up to 15 bucks a bag...
@@kaitlin-y2737 Rocco likes soft treats.
I’d give my dog anything
I was surprised when you said this was in San Francisco, I would take my dog here but he’s kinda a picky eater, has a sensitive stomach, and I’m broke 😬
Considering the fact that dogs don't really care about the culinary arts and can't tell top quality gourmet dishes from any other normal human food because they're used to kill they find our food better in general.
My point is if you go to the grocery store and buy your dog some chicken breasts he's going to be so happy because he's not eating kibble so you don't have to pay $75 to give you dog a good meal experience.
Just get him some meat because also I feel like a lot of the stuff they're serving the dogs aren't exactly healthy yet a piece of meat wouldn't be unhealthy for the dog and they would be very happy with it.
give them a complex meal tho because they smell and taste much better than we do, I agree with the chicken idea, its the best.
That $75 can feed 40 rescue dogs for 4 days
For their last meal? DEFINITELY NO DOUBT!!
Hell yeah love him very much
No matter how appetizing and pricey that food is my picky dog wont eat it😂
Man I don't even spend 75$ on my own meals much less my dogs
I know right
I'd treat my guinea pigs this way if I could afford it! They deserve the best!🥰
The same people that will spend thousands of dollars on their pet will not give a homeless person a dollar for a coffee. It is sad that we treat dogs better than we do human beings
Speak for yourself buddy
relax
Look at you! You go, dawg! Screw those loyal, loving canines. That dirty bum, panhandling for a nickel bag of meth deserves your monies way more than the animal that would fight a home intruder to the death if need be.
Screw the dirty hobos!
We work for our money we can choose however we want to spend it on... How about you? Do you live in an apartment or house? I bet you can give up some of that space and live with a homeless person
Don't let James Corden in
What a great idea!
Love the name, super cute 🥰
Do they give doggie bags if the food isn’t finished.
Yes! Yes! And yes!
Wild Elk Tartlette - Organic egg white + Organic egg yolk, so... eggs? :)

Me who ate nothing but pasta with sauce for the past month bc I'm a broke foreign student: FOOD IS FOOD
*NO!*
They should make it for dogs and humans so they can eat together, one for cats too please ❤️
No cats plz 👎
@@azeleapark yes cats plz 👍* why don't you want a cat one?
My girl loves a $1 meal just as much
Of course a dog is your best friend of course you would want to treat him well😄✌
Yess 👏🏽👏🏽🤟🏽
Yes!!! 🐶❤️
absolutely yes, I would.
Obviously I would do anything for my Dog
Outrageous
Yes
"Would you treat your dog to a 75$ meal?" Me: Y E S
Absolutely I would
Dog: this meal is not as good as what I usually eat.
*My dog eats her own poop. I’m not paying 75 dollars for that.*
This is a great way to prank someone too lol
If i have a lot of money, sure I will spoil my fur babies ❤️🥰🌺🐕
Hell yeah i would!
Heck yeah I would!
You can buy a lot of chicken, pork, beef cuts for 75 bucks...boiled or steam...
Or raw
You pay $75 for your dog to eat the meal in less than 30 seconds lol.
Yes, I would love to take Missy here once a week. We need this in DC!!!!
Heck yea I would
Nope. That's my whole groceries spend for the week.
If the place was named Dog the food wont be so expensive, the fancy sound is 90%of the price
The bag food I buy my dog cost that much and it lasts for over a month. I can't justify spending that amount for one meal. I dont even think I be willing to spend that much on myself.
I would do this for my dog’s birthday every year
Vogue: ❌🙅♂️
Dogue: ✔️😍
Yes.
If I had a disposable income and my pet got enjoyment out of a healthier fancy meal I'd pay.
Humans didn’t like his cooking, so he figured to make it for dogs💀
Definitely
I’ll do this 2 times a year.
I sure would🐶🙌🏽🔥🙏🏽💟
Absolutely.. I will
Has two kids and a wife and still spends 75 dollars on a mutt. I don’t care how bad I love my dog.
I wouldn’t do that for me. 😂
I do all the time... farmer's dog dog food ain't cheap and she's Worth everything and anything
I would 100% take my son there
Oh good. What a self satisfying people!!!😃
Kibbles and bits will do 😂
I smell a lawsuit, that’s already a well established chain of luxury dog products here… idk how that all works tho. Cool concept!
I just saw an Australian company, in which case it's not a TM issue.
I think the place can look so much better for those prices. It looks very basic
When my dog was alive, i make her steak, liver or chicken for dinner. I spent a lot of money on her from toys to food and treats and if she was still a live today, I would definitely bring her there. Although I don’t think that is enough food for a bullterrier.
Hell yeah please my baby Luna eats NY strip and sleeps on a therapeutic mattress better then some people I know lol.... #🐶4 Life APBT
American Pit Bull Terrier lover here too, best friend I've ever had
I wanna take my dogs here for their birthday 😊 I have a red heeler and german shepherd
Yes, yes I would.
I would take my dog there on their birthday.
That's a nope from me dawg...
I love my boy! But he literally INHALES food.. it just wouldnt be worth it lmao... he would be looking at me wagging his tail licking his lips looking for more before the transaction could even be made on my account🤣
Hell yeah
Heck yeah I would. If I could afford it 😢
