Same here..'84-'88...Married a local so I still go there often even though i haven't been on the yard since the early 90's! DEFINITELY a lot more places in town now than when we were stationed there!
They built that exchange right as I was leaving there. I think I might have went inside once. The base looks mostly the same to me as it did in 2005.

I was stationed there from 2014-2020. My whole active duty career. Dang I miss that place.
Thats different than what i remember from the early 70s
I was there in the 60s , I would go sat. nights to a race track just up the road , does anyone know the name of that track ???
