So in the last video, I introduced the Scamp loco I was building, and went through a few of the tasks needed to get it up and running before Jack's Summer Garden Railway Party.
This video follows on from that, showing the work being completed, and then running the Scamp at a few different events. I hope you enjoyed following the Scamp progress.
I am now starting a full build series from the very start. This will include introducing the loco, and why I decided to build one, order it, the pallets arriving, and the full build process, metalwork, painting, electronics, etc etc. I expect it will be at least 10 videos.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this update video, and seeing some of the adventures Scamp has been on already.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this video, stay safe, and I'll see you in one of my other videos.
:)

I absolutely adore Scamp!
The Scamp is a great, and a very portable loco, with a decent amount of power to make it a very useful loco too. If you drive a small hatchback car, and want to visit other railways, the Scamp is ideal! :)
Looking forward to seeing the build videos. Impressed with your result
Thanks 👍
Thanks for watching, everyone! Looking forward to seeing many of you at the next meets... Stay safe, and see you soon! :)
Are you bringing it to Drumawhey on Saturday?
Hey David, It may be making an appearance yeah!!!
Ha, yeah its all packed up ready for the trip. Scampy is a bit easier for short visits than Jenny! Although i am tempted to bring both!!
Nice Efforts 👌
Please keep it 💯 %
Can you make 1 video on How to lay Tracks & how to built it...please specify it's Gauge...?
Yes I will. I will be editing some new videos shortly, and will add these to my list. The gauge is 7 1/4 inch by the way.
@@BestLathePlans Thanks 😊
hiya mate- just wondering if the next build videos will be coming as I am currently in the process of building scamp 40 and i think it would be a good help top watch your videos as i build it.
Hey Harri. Good to hear from you. I'll be posting a couple of the scamp videos soon. Apologies for the delay. There's been lots of other distractions over the winter. :) anything in particular you're working on?
@@BestLathePlans currently waiting on the bearings to fit the wheels
Did you do a build series, can't find it?
Hey, thanks for the comment. I've all the footage filmed. The last 6 months has been very busy, with a massive project hopefully being announced early in the new year... I'm hoping to have the scamp build videos edited soon. And the first out before christmas. I hope that helps. Do you have a Scamp, and are you looking for info on how to build it?
@@BestLathePlans I've bought no.88 the Purple Moose but might buy a kit and do another one proper Lister style
What it the motor you are using on the scamp called?
Motor and dynamo are both 800 watt 36v motors - ZY1020 I think.
