That Josh guy wasn't bad, it's just that his punchlines didn't hit hard enough and weren't funny enough to work with that slow cadence/monotone delivery. He needed to get rid of all his awkward applause breaks and instead he should've just fit in a lot more jokes for the set length‼️

He's from the old school. Before the internet there were tons of beloved comics that made their entire career doing the same set. Yakov was a national success for a long time but kinda faded away, so most of this crowd probably never heard those jokes before.
