I get that Cole is supposed to be a heel but the nut shot is used way too much. The dude has multiple great moves to end matches yet he hits his opponent in the nuts every time.

I want a storyline where a lot of wrestlers and the refs will grow wise to Cole's perpetual use of low blows that'll make him realize he can't always rely on that to prevail in his matches.
Yeah tired of seeing the nut shot too and kinda wish Ishii won instead of Cole but I understand why they had him win tho.
I usually, for the most part, like a ton of the booking decisions for AEW, but I'm getting so tired of the low blow match ender for Adam Cole. I thought it was going to end with the Orange Cassidy feud with Orange Cassidy's ultimate counter to it and using the low blow to beat Cole, but Cole keeps using it. Like it gets him heel heat, but it's getting old and predictable way too quick.

You know what leapt out at me? When Ishii went for the superplex at 0:35 he didn't just fall backwards, he _jumped_ backwards off the second rope to slam Cole on the mat halfway across the ring. Small thing, but it made the move look WAY more devastating than usual. Ishii may just be the most-underrated and reliable workhorse in NJPW history.
Also Cole holding his body up at that angle, great work from both in that spot.

The fact that when jumped if helped land Cole flat too, ishii protects his opponents in a great way. It's safe for the opponent but the damn thing looks so powerful
Hes not underrated at all. He is so beloved he doesn't need the big belt. Plus ishi does his match and it's one of the best matches out there. A good ishi is up with anything in wrestling but it's the stone pitbull doing stone pitbull things. Do you want him against jay white doing long emotional heat segments. Nah you want the pitbull kicking ass and hes stayed just below the belt scene in njpw for a decade now. Ishi is a legend and we love him.

I just hope that at Forbidden Door we get some NJPW wins too. At least Cole "only" got a heel win with distraction and low blow.

In the AEW video game, they are gonna have to make Adam Cole's finisher the low blow, because I feel like he has won more matches with a low blow with the ref distracted than he has with his regular finishing moves

he usually gets the win with his finisher but he hits the low blow beforehand so I understand what you're saying man and I completely agree Cole is too good of a wrestler not to just win from time to time without having to use those tactics. I think it's taking away from how good he is at this point
I want to see dustin rhodes old finisher back, shattered dream. I like to use him in hctp to keep kick opponents downstair.
Agree when say that Cole is using too much "Low Blows", he is great wrestler and can Win matches without using this move...
I understand it with Ishii because TK has to protect NJPW talent to keep the promoters happy, which is why heel matches in Japan can be really same-y after a while in Japanese wrestling (one of the major reasons BC started to stagnate).
But with other talent, absolutely Cole should not be punting in the dick every match.

I got to see him at a live Dynamite in Norfolk, VA last November. I was so excited to hear that Ishii was randomly on the first AEW show I ever got to attend. Then I saw that he was teaming with Orange f’n Cassidy 🤦🏻♂️.

Considering the amount of moves that Adam Cole has and even as a heel, the overly used low blows have gotten stale.

This was a great match in my opinion predictable but great match nonetheless also I wonder if jay’s going to hit a blade runner on cole like he did kenny back in 2018 because you can’t trust the switchblade.

"great" could mean one or two things: mediocre or ok-ish.
Well back then, Jay hit Kenny with the Blade Runner because it was his and Tama's plan before. But this year, Jay got rid of G.o.D so that Bullet Club can be fully his. He is looking to expand on AEW, with The Undisputed Elite. Now this would probably connect to The Elite, Hangman, The Undisputed Elite, and Bullet Club in one whole storyline.
Would be stupid to have Jay White turn on Cole unless Cole comes out on top. They gotta stop making Cole look like such a damn loser before Kenny returns for their obvious Elite vs Paragon feud.

Ishii, my favourite japanese wrestler from this era . Always wanted him to win the IWGP championship, definitely not gonna happen now .
Switchblade is probably one of the most entertaining wrestler today! Where ever you look you see Jay White. This man is promoting himself everywhere. Switchblade has been going through the “Forbidden Doors” so much, they are simply doors of opportunity for him now.

You can really see a difference and a more dynamic style for NJPW. The stalling to build tension on the superplex and then to do it in such an unorthodox direction, kept my attention fixed.

Why am I not suprised? A low blow by Cole thank to White. These low blows that they have Cole using it getting really, really tiring. For once, just one I would like to see a match wher Cole doesn't use the damn low blow. It was an awesome match and Ishii should have one it but Cole couldn't stand to lose so he had to get outside help, to get the ref distracted so Cole can cheat to win.
