Ed, I'm glad you got my Christmas card. The way you did your Mustang is the same way I did mine, by adding some round spur to the cutaways in the fender wells. Looking good my friend.
I like that you did the 53 Sedan Delivery. I like that you're doing the 68 GT500 too. Note: ALL Mustangs and Falcons up through 1973 got those coil tower braces. Ford calls that an "export brace". I have NO IDEA why. In 74, Ford downsized the Mustang to the Pinto chassis with coils mounted on the lower control arm and pushing up into a coil pocket on the lower chassis structure. My 1- owner 61 Falcon wagon has it. My 61 Falcon Ranchero had it. EVERY race Falcon and Mustang I Tech inspected in the 1960s and 70s had it. ALL the Falcon and Mustang race cars and street cars I've worked on had it. EVERY Falcon and Mustang I've ever seen under the hood of had it. Somehow, I keep running across guys who don't know about it. I guess those guys have seen later models that don't have it, or they come from Chevy land. Shelby race cars got a brace added across the engine bay from one tower to the other. That is called a "Monte Carlo Bar" as it was invented for the factory developed 1963 Falcon international rally cars, which 1st competed in the Monte Carlo Rally. That is a VERY popular upgrade to hotrodded road racer type Mustangs. Drag type cars don't need a Monte Carlo bar. Neither do Chevy Monte Carlos.

All the defects of your modeling would go unnoticed if you didn't point them out. I'm not stupid, you're just that good of a modeler.
Thank you.
