Have you guys ever considered art for the races themselves? I'd love to see how some of the races I've never heard of are supposed to look like. I really like the art for the roles and just wish there was a bit more here and there haha. That being said, I also do enjoy the "cleanliness" of the layout, colors, font choice, etc. and everything. I know putting any art on the back of the race deck would mess up people who do randomized race drawing, but it'd be cool if there was a supplemental deck we could purchase with maybe just the art for all the different races, or maybe a page on the site for reference. There's a ton of roles and races and it seems a lot of the races might already be portrayed in the role art between the 2 games and 2 expansions, maybe a reference on the site? Haha one can hope. Anyways love the game and am definitely going to preorder the 3rd one in the upcoming weeks.
Thank you! Yes, we polled the community on this! It seems the consensus is that everyone wants an art book. We've begun looking into such a thing. thanks for the comment!
Thanks, I'm playing my first game and your vids are really helpful. One question on combat that I can't find and answer for is, on your dragon example, the middle section, what does the red crossed swords with the 1/2 mean. Its proberly obvious, so sorry for being a bit dumb. Thanks in advance.
Ah, yes, I should have shown that off in this one. When the opponent rolls an action that requires energy use, and they do not have enough energy to use, their action defaults to the one shown, but functions at half its original potency. So in this case, the Young Dragon's Mastery (if it use the ability but didn't have enough Energy) would change to a basic attack, which would deal 2 damage to the group (5 divided by 2 = 2 when rounded down), then would also Defend for 5 instead of 10.Hope that helps!
@@HEXploreIt Thanks so much for the quick reply. That certainly explained it. Keep them coming, they really are appreciated here in the UK and I'm sure everywhere else. :)
@@hlorridirudel9627 Yes, I have personally seen it in a sneak peek during an interview. I'm so-so on it, honestly. I won't spoil anything in terms of numbers, but the kobold's racial ability, last I saw, was tied specifically to Vol 5 mechanics, which I find kinda... meh? Only because it kinda nerfs them anywhere but Vol 5, as anywhere else they don't have a racial ability to use. It's like Wood Elves with the fate die ability in Vol 2, though an easy fix for them is to just put a D8 into each volume to cover for them. @HEXplore It did that change?
Very helpful! Thx for making Hexplore it!

>easy setting
>+10 health/energy
what? that's moderate from what i'm reading
Hey Kobold! We actually use 2 heroes in that example, so +5 each is 10 total increase. Thanks!
@@HEXploreIt neat, now make a kobold race
@@KoboldGamer He did ;)

Read again, it says per hero.
