CVS 2, kof 98, and sf3ts my top 3 fighting games of all time (in that order).

49:10 So normally this would be a punish on Hibiki. But in this case it was not. BAS even got the Reversal Scissors and she was able to JD. That is because Rai timed his combo specifically that the Reversal Scissors could be JD'd. Because you can JD 1 frame before you can block (technically the same for parries). You do this by doing the crouch light kicks to crouch light punch very slowly so they pushed as far back as possible. In this case I think that first block on the crouch light kick pushed him far enough that he couldn't punish it.

This was my fav go-to 2d fighter on ps2 and xbox, it was a full meal deal, and set the standard for bright, sexy game design. It felt important, and revitalized my love for both the companies.

That Guile finish against Sagat was sick. Years down the road these little tournaments Bas uploads are still excellent. I love that once on awhile you see non stereotype cvs2 teams.
I used to bop with this back in the day when it dropped on Dreamcast in Japan. A friend secured me a copy along with Project Justice and Guilty Gear X.
I had a Sagat for my business team, back when everyone had either a Sagat or a Blanka. I wasn’t great but I enjoyed playing it a lot. I had a few custom characters that a friend made for me: PimpKuma (all white Shin Akuma) and Big Daddy (all white God Rugal). I still have them on a VMU.
And as an aside, Shinkiro’s art and the soundtrack definitely helped put this in top-tier of fighting games.
Oh man I played the eff outta this game back when it first came out in the arcades.
I used to play Geese and Todo and people would be like "MC HAMMER PANTS TEAM".
It was glorious.
I made a custom Akuma in this game named Fakuma and people were like bro that's corny.
That ad break confused the hell out of me lols... I was looking for the skip button but I saw Justin's Window and was wondering how is this ad running with Justin's face cam

I'll be honest, I think Smash, Fortnight, etc. changed the model. It's now Everybody vs Everybody, with everybody as DLC.
When wolves hits and breaks the internet, it's def in our future. You don't drop a bogard tease in sf6 without a follow up. Hear our prayers, Japan!❤❤

Imo custom combo should be banned from tournaments. All it takes is one punish and you go from being 100% health to either dead or damn near dead. You should have to earn that health bar.
Might as well get rid of supers and punishes all together. No more x factor no more rage…just zero systems. They made that game already called sf2
@philipsalibo7641 there's a huge difference between supers and custom combo. Custom combo you can literally mash one button as fast as you can to get 40 hit combos easily. It requires ZERO skill. As long as you can activate during a punish it's over. You're not going to convince me some easy mode custom combo that allows you to mash a single button to victory is a good idea for tournaments.
There's a reason why tons of fighting games have banned characters in tournaments just like this game. This is arguably worse than bannable characters because you can take any character in the game and abuse TF out of it.
But if no more custom combo....... Who will paint the fences!?😢
Yeah I agree, but the people going to say argue how the A groove is not broken, when literally is broken, the fact you can activate in the air is just a crazy thing
@@MasterChips69 of course they'll argue it's not broken, they use it exclusively lol. It's a no brain play style so it's a favorite of many
