    It should work with a homemade filter OR a filter from another manufacturer that’s been cut to the same dimensions as the ones in use here, correct?

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  2 роки тому

      Hey Björn, you can try to do so. However, we can just guarantee the hygiene as well as the humidification efficiency when you use the original filters. They seem quite simple and nothing special, but there is 10+ years of evaporative humidifier filters know-how built in these filters. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.

    Does the Oskar little has the same hydrometer build in? Can I set it at 45 or 50% and will it shut down when the humidity is reached?

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  2 роки тому +1

      Dear R.O.A. Harmusial, thank you for your message.
      Only Oskar and Oskar big have a hygrostat to set the desired air humidity. You can choose between the following levels: 40 %, 45 %, 50 %, 55 %. The hygrostat switches on automatically once the relative air humidity in the room sinks below the preset value and switches off when the desired humidity is reached. Oskar little does not have a hygrostat. We hope we have been of help. Best regards from Anna @ Stadler Form

    How does the hydrostat work? I click two times to set the humidity to level 2 but then the lights go on blinking and the fan won't start, unless i set the hydrostat to level 5...

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  3 роки тому

      Hey there, thank you for your message. The hygrostat starts with 40% relative humidity (1 light on), then 45% (2 lights), 50% (3 lights) 55% (4 lights) and continuous mode (5 lights on). So if it is blinking at 2 lights, this means that in your room, it is at least 45% relative humidity. If it only starts working at 5 lights (continuous operation), then the humidity is above 55% already which usually means, that your room does not need additional humidification. So just choose your desired level (1 to 4 or continuous mode) and Oskar will sens once humidity drops and start humidifying. Let us know, if you have any further questions. Stay healthy! All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.

    does have Oskar a built-in hydrometer that works automatically according to the set humidity value?

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  3 роки тому

      Hi MrSlovenc86, yes, Oskar does have an integrated hygrostat for exact humidification. Best regards from Lea @ Stadler Form

    Can i use basic essential oils or do i have to use some special ones?

      Jey Carmen, as long as there is no alcohol in the essential oils - there is no problem to use them. Have you seen our new Aroma Diffuser Lucy - if you like essential oils - you will LOVE Lucy :-) Stay healthy. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.

    Is there any risk of calcium "white dust" with this humidifier?

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  10 місяців тому

      Hi @stefanjr, thank you for your question. No, the so-called "white dust" is not possible with the Oskar family. They humidifie the air according to the natural principle of evaporation. There is also no mist visible when the Oskars are working. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. Best regards, Lea from @ Stadler Form

    Evo radi već 5 dana bez prestanka samo doljevam vodu i digo je vlagu sa 24 na 29 .
    Kad otvorim prozor na pola sata vlaga se digne sa 24 na 30.
    Sva sreća je da ima mogučnost povrata 2 tjedna.
    Nadam se da je to pomoglo nekome.

      Hey, thank you for your comment. Sorry, I do not speak your language. I have to point out that to humidify the room with Oskar can take some time. As long as you keep refilling the water tank (as you do, according your message) and the water "disappears" - everything is well. It just means that some of your water is absorbed in walls, furniture, the floor. If you keep refilling your Oskar, you will soon notice the increase of humidity level! Have a great week. Best regards from Switzerland Samuel @ Stadler Form.

      @@snupistardust ja sam ga kupila u elipsu. Ne mogu vam opisati koliko su zene bile bezobrazne kad sam ga isla vratiti kao ja sam prva kojoj ne valja od 500 kupaca..ja im govorim pa da je valjao nebi ga dosla vratit mislim sasvim logicno. Trazila mu je manu jedno 10 minuta samo da ga ne mogu vratit ali nije nista nasla..Na kraju sam jos morala platit ovu bijelu spuzvu ili filter jer je kao koristen. Ja kazem pa to ide uz ovlazivac, nisam ga ni mogla isprobat a da se taj filter nije koristio ..ona meni kaze da da ali moras sada kupiti novi i to pazite ne jedan nego 2 morate platiti jer su dva u paketu. Tako da eto vratila ovlazivac koji ne radi apsolutno nista i jos ostala u “minusu” za 150 kuna. Znaci prakticki nisam dobila nista, a jos sam potrosila novce za njegovo vracanje haha. I sad taj jedan filter je ostao kod njih drugi je kod mene i mogu se slikati s njime 😋 ugl uzas!!!

    How long before I should change the filters?

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  Рік тому

      Hi Cookie, you should change the filters every 2 to 3 months. After some time, they might get a little hard (from the minerals in the water) and might loose humidification performance. If this happens, you can turn them 180° and use them for another couple of weeks. But anyways, they should be exchanged every 2-3 months to benefit from maximum humidification performance and best hygiene in your humidifier. All the best from Samuel @ Stadler Form.

    I can’t get the water cube into the slot inside the Oskar large. It keeps popping out.

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  4 роки тому +1

      Hi sims sims, the water cube does not have to click into place. The groove is only an indicator where it could be placed. The water cube does not necessarily have to be placed in this position. It is only important that the water cube is placed completely in the water so that it is fully effective. I hope this helps. Happy New Year! Best Regards, Lea @Stadler Form

      Stadler Form I have a 3 gallon Aircare Evaporative but it's a pain to fill it up. I fill it 2-3x a day. I was thinking about yours for my room because it is more quiet and easier to fill. But the thing is I am worried that since yours has a smaller tank I will be filling it up even more. Any idea how yours compares to competition? Maybe a good review website that reviews both like consumer report, etc..

    • @stadlerform
      @stadlerform  6 років тому

      Hey Super Terrific R, thank you for your question. Our Oskar big has a 1.5 gallon water tank and a 4.5 gallon max. output per 24 hours. So you will be refilling about 3 times in 24 hours if much humidity is needed. The cool thing about Oskar is the refill opening which allows you to refill the unit without moving it. That's very handy and convenient, even if you face many refills a day. Let me know, if you have further questions. Cheers from Samuel @ Stadler Form.
