I just sold my 2001 Thumb 4 string. Due to the short top horn on the body, it was causing massive shoulder pain following a shoulder reconstruction. It was a regretful sale as it was my best sounding bass. The top horn on my two Corvettes is much longer and doesn't irritate my shoulder. I noticed the top horn on this bass that Andy is playing is a lot longer than standard, more like that of a corvette - what's going on with that?

WooSe T I think they are like 4K now, but you find older used ones (pre 99 were the best unless you like big necks) for around 1.5k. high quality components and construction, small amount of them made, made in Germany, and attention to detail all make for high prices. They rock for metal ( ever hear of Mudvayne?)
