During the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, George Lucas received an honorary Palme d'Or for his monumental impact to the cinema industry. On May 24th, 2024, he participated in a talk session in the Debussy theatre in Cannes called "Rendez-vous avec George Lucas." In this clip, Lucas discusses his difficulties making it in the industry as a young person, and advice for young filmmakers in the industry today.
