The Great Divide Tour Divide Bike Ride Part 2: 2022 ; Atlantic City to Antelope Wells

This is the second half of my ride on the famous Great Divide off road bike route that starts in Banff, Alberta in Canada and goes all the way through the USA to the Mexican border at Antelope Wells. This is the second half of my ride picking up the route from Atlantic City. I followed the exact route from start to finish using gpx files and the set of maps from the Adventure Cycling Association. The ride was done with a brilliant group of fellow cyclists from around the world and a fantastic team of support crew organised by Bike Dreams.
The ride took a total of 53 days, with 45 riding days to cover the 2850 miles and about 180,000 feet of climbing. The route was approximately 70% off road and I used my Lappiere ProRace 629 29r hard tail mountain bike (about 8 years old) and had absolutely no issues with the bike. Just put a new rear tyre on for the last week and new front brake pads half way through the trip.
