Thank you Ross for saying it as it is specially with all the Tesla fanboy out there. It's hard to give Elon more money where the root of Tesla downfall on stocks price contributed to himself selling off huge shares. Also why we should hand him more power where he cant even hit the FSD home run and the Cybertruck miserably delayed and overpriced. What worries me is Elon is using Tesla money and resources to fund the AI and Robotics for which he claims not his not comfortable doing it in Tesla. The Tesla board is completely a shit show.
I want the best for Tesla and that means keeping them honest. Thing are getting more and more ridiculous and we have to speak out!
@@Gerberkawasaki I commend you on speaking about it in public. Its sad to see Tesla supporters portrayed you negatively these days for speaking the truth about Tesla and more specifically Elon. My wife and I almost sold all of our Tesla shares two years ago to fully paid our house in California, but we thought we wanted to support them company more and see its potential for which we could possibly retired with our investment. Unfortunately with what happened these past few years and missed goals by the company along with its CEO only caring about himself and not fully focused with the company, we now don't have that dream of paying off our house and retiring early. It's sad to be a Tesla investor these days.

Ross Gerber makes some great points about the concerns Elon is making about needing more ownership of TSLA. Musk is coming across as if everyone else is standing in his way. That is no way to thank the workers who made your company what it is today.

The math isn't Elon vs The Board, but rather Elon plus The Board vs institutional investors that at some future point might insist upon financial metrics for AGI production and innovation that lead to bad outcomes. This assumes a controllable AGI future, and that Elon has sufficiently better insight and method(s) of controlling it than others in the space. But that it could help contribute to a better future, and also provide a basis for a future compensation package and inspiration for Elon's method: something nearly impossible, urgent, and definitely worth pursuing. So: Elon being Elon.

Ross has been crying about Elon for months. He's still mad he couldn't get on the board and force advertising. In his mind, that would increase the performance of $TSLA (and his GK fund).
