- This video will walk you through how to lower or raise the shoulder straps on your Doona car seat infant carrier. I walk through the simple tightening and loosening of straps, as well as how to disonnect them and reconnect them going through a different opening.
Also, check out this video to see how to remove the cover and wash it and put it back on:

New dad thank you so much!
You're welcome. Congratulations!
Straps are shown routed improperly on the underside of the seat in the first part of the video. Some people might see only the first part of the video and route those over the metal bar like you are showing.
That's a good point, Austin. I'd hate to be the cause of someone putting it together wrong. I'll have to fix that
Yaaaaaa we definitely just found that out the hard way lol 😝
Shoot! Ok i need to fix that
Very helpful 👏
You're welcome!
Thank you so much !
You're welcome!
Thanks!
Thank you for the super thanks - very kind of you. Glad this was helpful
This is so helpful thank you! Is there by chance something that can be done with the strap that hangs in between the legs?
You're welcome! I'm not sure what you mean about the strap between the legs - what do you want to do with it? Hide it?
@@JasonsHonestReviews sorry! The strap right below the gray button that hangs
@@briana1858 ok i understand which strap you're talking about. It's supposed to hang between the legs. That allows you to tighten or loosen the straps
Thank you
You're welcome, James!
my harness seems locked i press on the grey button but the metal piece where both straps go is locked help!!!😫😫😫
It won't release unless the legs are extended. If it's in the base, it won't extend the straps - kind of weird
yes i have it upside down im trying to make the straps longer but im pressing that grey button and my straps dont loosen like yours do when you pull on them
omg did you figure it out?? mine is doing the same thing 😭
Hey my baby's foot hits that grey button where you pull the straps when he starts kicking and going crazy is there anyway yo cover that up? Is there like an add on accessory that's just my only concern about it
That's a great question... Nothing that i can think of would help with that
... Sorry I'm not more help
@@JasonsHonestReviews all good thank you
I notice when I press the grey button to adjust the strap it won’t work. What may be the cause of this?
Is it in the base? It's a dumb design flaw, but the base entraps the strap so you have to pull it out of the base to loosen or tighten the straps
Where do you store the extra length of the shoulder strap that hangs at the bottom of the stroller (closer to where you’re standing when pushing) Does it tie under the seat somewhere?
You can tuck it under the seat. Or mine didn't end up being that long by the time I had the straps adjusted correctly
@@JasonsHonestReviews thank you. Great, I thought I was missing something specifically for it. Also, very helpful video.
Thanks. And you're welcome
My Metal thing is stuck in the bottom, how do loosen it?
Try the button between where your child's legs would go. That loosens the strap that's connected to the metal thing
Is it possible to take the whole straps to wash it?
Great question... As far as I can tell, no
This is useful at what ages should be straps be adjusted
That's a great question. It's going to depend on how quickly the child grows. The strap should be coming from above the shoulder and going down, not going down behind the shoulder. So if the child has grown and it's going down behind the shoulder, raise the straps.
Hope that helps
Thank you that makes sense it was going down his shoulder but fits well now
