- In todays video we remove the window tint off of my truck and get a local sheriff to sign off on the ticket! It was either this or pay $195 dollars to pay the ticket! I am glad I had the option of removing it and doing away with the ticket! Big thanks to the deputy for the good experience!

Princess Marco Turdina here in Florida any government, city, law enforcement, fire truck, ambulance, limo, private investigator and I believe taxis are exempt from the tint laws. Know this from a cop friend.

I would get pulled over on a weekly basis for tint. Paid tickets up until the point where they gave me no other option but to strip it or they would impound it. Left it fishbowl for a few months sadly then went back to the 15% shield and 5% all around. Its been two years since and I've only been stopped three times since then. Without a doubt, they will find one person and harass them until you comply. Good luck.

They are not infringing on your rights. It is safety issue for law enforcement. Simply because a vehicle is registered to a law abiding person. Doesn't mean that person is the one driving. A traffic stop is the second most dangerous situation for law enforcement. Asking to be able to see in the car. Before they get shot in the face. Is not too much to ask. I actually find it interesting that its not the entire passenger compartment. The could just as easily be shot from the rear passenger seat. However, that is where most people's children are riding. Just do 20% instead of the 5%. Yeah - you can still see in it a bit but it’s better than 35%. The 20% up front with the blacked out rears you have will still be more than dark enough.

Feels bad I got 15% with another layer of 5%=0% on front 2 windows than 2 layers of 5% on back 3 windows. Than 35% front windshield with 10 inch 5% sun visor/brow. 04 Dodge Ram 1500 quad in Nebraska. I daily drive by Police and sheriffs Monday-Friday to Seward and York been lucky so far.

Next time use a steamer or warm up the glass from the outside so the glue doesn’t separate from the film so much. Either way you can use windex WITH ammonia and a stainless razor blade, scrape top to bottom. Glue comes right off

I got stopped for my windshield tint a while back. Ticket for windshield and sides on that stop. Went and paid the tickets off. Soon as it was paid, a day later the same trooper stopped me again for another windshield ticket. Removed the windshield tint this time, went to have the ticket dismissed and they didn’t even come outside to check it. Just signed it off 🤦🏼♂️

Here in FL . 15 is legal . Just did my Silverado 5 all around with a 50 front . They don’t bother us for tints here

My tint guy has always told me to NEVER tint the back glass factory tint ANY darker. The sides can be darker and illegal but as the police are coming towards you or from behind, they can see enough light through the factory back glass tint that it doesn't throw red flags as much. That's what I always do and *knock on wood* I haven't ever got a ticket yet.

Next time spray Windex on the glue 3 or 4 times and wait for glue to turn white, then use squeegee/scrapper and it will roll off glass.
Isopropyl alcohol cleans that glue off the windows
I had one ticket back in high school. It was 75$ for the fine and I got the ticket same week I got the tint so I paid the fine and kept the tint. Never had another problem.
To clean the glue use soapy water or windex an a blade

I've heard just cover your door panel and on a cool day spray the hell out of the window with windex and put a black plastic bag on it to keep the windex from drying out. Let it sit for 5 minutes or so then get a new razor blade and scrape it off. I've used goo gone but you literally melt the glue and make a huge mess. Good luck!

I remember one time in CA I drove to the Highway Patrol office and the guy didn't even come out to look at the car; he just signed it! Where is that neighborhood where you removed the tint? That is a killer house! It be over 2million here in the SF Bay Area.
Don’t use razor blade. Use soap and water. I’m surprised I haven’t been pulled over yet with my tint. I have “ limo” on both the front and the back.
Blue windex turns glue to snot wipes right off with paper towel
Use a steam gun it works better. And if your around Minnesota. Black diamond tinting is “open” for cash work if you want it.
