@@scottroberts5529you’re right I got a ‘24 m340i with the mild hybrid system and I got all the pops and bangs but mine came with the m performance exhaust
This is what I drive. IMO the best setup is a downpipe and OEM catback. It doesn't sound much different than the Dinan, but I actually gained some power.
@@jakefox3677 That's why I went with an Active Autowerks downpipe. 49 state EPA legal, no CEL guarantee. Expensive, but I didn't want the hassle. And I have a '20, the DME can be bench unlocked. I didn't send mine out. Tuned it with Mission in my garage.
All aftermarket exhausts are overpriced. Custom muffler delete sounds better and saves money for other mods. One just has to find a muffler shop that knows how to do it correctly, without drone. Luckily for me I found such shop.
stock sounded great already, the dinan perfected it
stock sounded like a dyson vacuum
Stock sounder like a vaccum cleaner farting
I swear this guy can never say the name of any exhaust brand correctly
You get what you pay for, Dinan has sponsored BMW motorsports for ages now. Im sure they know what sounds best.
Like how the Denan exhaust sounds and makes that pop sound. Sounds great guys.
The one wth the catback was probably a 2020 model and the straight pipped one was probably a 2021 and up bmw coded out the pops after 2020
@@scottroberts5529 they both sounded great imo. Thanks for responding. Appreciate it. 😁
@@scottroberts5529 not really. Even the newer Supra's srtll have the pops. Especially when you add an exhaust to it.
@@thisguyshorty3554 yeah but I believe bmw added a mild hybrid system to the 21 and up for the bmw lineup i can't say for the supra through

Man the b58 is one good sounding engine. It’s hard to beat the sound of a good straight 6
Sounds good but i think the tips stick out to much
Both sounded really good, but would go for dinan even though it costs like 2k$ which is quite a lot of money, but you do get a perfect sound though
Very nice. Good work
Edit: Dinan definitely sounds 100x better than Straight Pipe
Preciate all the love on the blue M340i!
The dynan is worth it, it's incredible.
Just spend the 2k that exhaust sounds 10 times better than the straight pipe
Not worth 2k at all mate!! The stock system already sounded fire!!🔥🔥
sounds like a NISSAN GTR talking about the blue BMW M340I that is in the video
Don't like the tips, but it definitely sounds good!
Plan on getting a M340i next year nice to see a exhaust video for it

Lots of people don’t want to deal with a check engine or going through shipping the ecu off to Netherlands to get it sent back just to tune it out.

@@jakefox3677jb4 piggyback will tune that out
Yeah def need a high flow dp to wake that up
Downpipe coming soon, don’t worry!
Man i love bmw's cars and the exhaust sounds amazing with the burble tune!!! 🤩
Got to love the that bar bell lol😂😂
Surprised me - actually sounds OK for a 6-banger....... BUT........ $2k??? NO WAY!!!!
In-line 6’s are built different
The Dinan is worth it if you buy the car new, 5-10yrs old definitely getting it straight piped
It's hard to make a B58 sound bad. With that being said, you don't need a 2k exhaust to make it sound good.
I live when they change from eco to sport on a straight pipe where the valves aren’t a factor anymore and the no tune involved haha
single turbo btw
The Dinan sounds better. Not a fan of the straight piped setup.
$2000 exhaust... Before install? Wow
Edit: I've watched the entire video and now I understand. 🤌
Wished you guys were located out here in San Diego,CA. Id be bringing you some cars to hook up for me. Love your work you guys do.
You'd get state ref'ed real quick.
@@thisguyshorty3554 sucks 😕
Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Sounds okay. I would have saved my money.
"Dae-nin" I can't even 😂😂.. It's pronounced "DIE-NAN"
Dinan
These are single turbo not twin turbo btw
Now try and find a dinan or Alpina on the street 😂 good luck!
