  • Before we even start to sing, there are numerous fine adjustments that our instruments make in order to shape our sound for the pitch, vowel, register, and intensity. These are certainly physiological adjustments, but we can't ignore how the psychological affects our ability to allow our voices to coordinate effectively.

This is hands down, the most important video on UA-cam regarding singing. The BIGGEST thing that holds me back is knowing that my upstairs neighbor can hear everything. And so I hold back. I’m trying to learn to let go of that, so it’s a work in progress!!

This is so spot on true. I have songs in my repertoire, like Foreigner's "Hot Blooded." No way on earth will I hit those pitches without intense mental focus. My mind gives me those notes a split second before I hit them.

singwisevocals so in 2016 I could belt like up to a F5 or idk somewhere around that range and then a couple months later I started belting a F#4 and couldn’t go any higher and it’s just still the same now and I’m just curious on what really happened if you know the case but my falsetto stayed with me:)
