Fabulous. I totally agree and see it as a useful step that we have to reassure singers about. It's a part of change, similar to so many other kinds of change in life! Welcome back to YT!

Awesome tip! I’ve been taking lessons for just over two years, and my voice went through several rounds of restructuring. The first time, I thought for sure I was doing something wrong, but learned to trust the process of developing new coordinations. 🤙🏼

I'm SO SO glad your back Karyn! I was literally just going through all your old videos yesterday and was wondering when you would be back. Thanks for all the hard work and information you put into your videos, they're really helpful and informed me immensely. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and new year x

This is unbelievable! I've been having singing lessons for about a year, once a week, and I had that exact thing happen to me last Thursday for the first time. Today, you post about that specific thing! So it sounds like it is good news that I have reached the point that that happens. I will draw this to the attention of my teacher! Thank you!

So nice to see you here!
Thank you for your information about you. I was also worried. Still I think your approach to all the themes concerning singing is unique and so well thought through. A real benefit for us. Greetings from Germany. Holger.

    Wow a new video !!!
Thank you so much I discovered you about 6 months ago and you have taught me so much!
I watch your 3 videos on the tight throat and the one for the low larynx often and my singing teacher ( who told me to look you up ) has recorded the exercises for me and my voice is finally coming good. Your work is much appreciated your work is a gift to so many thank you!!
    Perhaps for a topic suggestion
This video kind of touches on it
    The restructuring phase
I watched a video where an American opera singer talks about taking a year off to restructure her voice and that she sounded terrible in this time. Maybe you could look at the process and how to let your voice find it’s way to a better place?
But maybe you already have I admit I haven’t watched all your videos yet 🤔🙏🙏

Your videos and articles are so brilliant, it's such a shame I didn't see them before, I could avoid so many problems. May I ask you a question here on youtube? I have quite a big problem that I really need help with, but not sure if it's ok to just ask here

Thank you! I am right in this spot right now with my voice so this was perfect for me. Do you use the Estil software? Could you do a video on that? Also always interested in videos on how to compress the chords. Thanks!!

Thank you for this video! On a different topic, I am learning to use my diaphragm/midsection muscles rather than my throat muscles for singing. However, I am finding that I am going off pitch a lot more and I have back pain because I have poor posture and this gets in the way of proper breath support. Do you think this is what is causing my recent pitchiness, and how do I fix it?

Wondering if you'd comment on whether there are any elements of yodeling in this ua-cam.com/video/Bkg2045BqwM/v-deo.html. As someone who doesn't know much about yodeling I feel I hear some, but others disagree.

Heyy, you're back just in time to give me a video to plaster to my students' retinas when they get too preoccupied with masking audible passagi. This so affirming to hear from another teacher!

I would have demonstrated it if I could have with any degree of consistency or predictability. It would have taken me many takes to get my voice to do what I've trained it out of doing!

👉I would find it even more interesting if you show your explanations on living singers like Dimash Qudaibergen (the best singer in the world, according to many singing teachers) or Diana Ankudinova (a very young and rare alto voice with polyphonic overtones).

Neither of those singers demonstrates what I'm talking about in this video. The "yodel/wobble" is not something that is heard in singers who have learned to balance their voices and smoothly bridge their registers; it's heard in voices that are still trying to find that balance at the register break.

@@singwisevocals I agree with you. I had something else in mind and just took the opportunity: I just wanted to encourage you to combine voice analysis with reactions to singers to make your interesting explanations even more interesting and understandable for laypeople.🧡
