instead of doing the chase method with a rat tail comb. I use a brush. You know like a boy brush. it gets my hair alot smooth than using the comb. :)

I don't know if you noticed this as you were doing your hair but it looked really nice when you had the back done and then the rest still in the big braids and pinned up, I know you needed to finish the rest but it looked like a really good sort of accidental or unintentional style.

I know that grape seed oil is a really good heat protectant. I used it the one time that I blew out my hair but I never use a blow dryer, flat iron, etc. on my hair because I am lazy! And I like my curlies!
your hair looks good especially for the 2nd time. your dog is soo cute i maltypu half maltese and half puddle.
I have the instyler and it get my hair straight like I went to the salon and got a blow dry and straighten. It's a life saver while I transition

@sweetbiella they do that on purpose because they love to cut hair its not likely that any salon will give you a trim when u ask for it, they always cut ur hair, do it urself its very simple and pretty much impossible to mess up.

Man i feel you on the chase method ! i need one so my ends can look less frizzy. I ask for advice and was told i need a trim but i alreay trimmed my ends, its just my texture

I've never had great experience in salons. I haven't been to one in more than 4 years. Decided to go natural 3 months ago. If I need a trim I'll try doing it myself. I once had a trim in a salon and she cut too much of my hair and I was not happy.
Hey Gabe! Great video. I was just gonna say: The sizzling comes from the product you use, not the comb or brush. No offense though. If it's clear or grayish smoke coming from your iron, that's from the product but if it's black smoke, it's from your hair BURNING.

I'm left handed too and it's very difficult to style hair. My mother use to hate to show me how to do things because of me being left handed, like cooking....lol

I'm left handed also and I noticed if you use smaller sections you will have better luck..you also need to let that stuff dry then apply the heat

your dog is sooo cute, when you blow dry it should have been straighter , your combs were about to break , it should sound like that when you comb your hair , making harder to flat iron. you didn't put ant protectant or serum in the hair ir detangling leave conditioner

Ive heard women say theirs lasted two weeks...of course they didn't go around anything that would make it steam up. I'm not ready to straighten mine.
I would be very detailed about how much you want trimmed. I asked for a trim one year and she cut way too much off and I was pissed and wish I would have watched her because she cut way toooooo much off.

Im left handed too and that comb is better than just using a regular rat tail comb lol and with the comb your holding it too tight
