In my TRD ORP, hold down the traction control for few seconds will turn off ABS and all traction control systems

They re-engage at like 20 MPH or something. I have the same thing.

I got to admit I must be thick headed but I can’t see any benefit to locking up your wheels on gravel roads. Is the benefit that your sliding in a panic stop unable to steer. Unless you can perform alternate braking methods like cadence or threshold braking probably better to leave the ABS system working. You are not going to maintain the speeds those Baja racer are reaching in your 4runner. Those guys are balls out racers they are not braking. Those trucks are mostly 2wd anyway and last I looked I didn’t see an awning or trasharoo on them. Thanks enjoy your videos -M

So all in all it looks like it’s just a relay that’s triggered on and off. What does that number 13 wire the purple one actually do is that just the power for the ABS module? so is it just basically taking away power from the ABS module momentarily when the button is pushed?
