I was able to beat this game including level 1 & 2 in higher difficulty mode. But man oh what was it frustrating because of it’s unfair randomness of spawning and respawning fire balls,phew☹️
Back then in Brazil it was really harder to get access to electronic components, the developers had to do what they could with the little hardware available which was mostly galaxian hardware. Taito do Brasil did an amazing job given the conditions back then. They made fantastic pinball machines that are still beeing played to this day and gave access to the games people were playing overseas even if they were not as good as the source material.
Not really, there's another called big Kong which was a bootleg of crazy kong which ran on galaxian boards. Donkey Kong was crazy popular and Nintendo had a hard time early on making boards and cabs to meet demand so bootlegging Crazy Kong which was a DK bootleg made to run on different hardware (in it's case Crazy climber boards) so to take that, rework the code for a different board made sense because people wanted DK.

It’s amezing that they could run this game on a galaxian machine,altrough that machine wasn’t all that different from a donkeykong machine hardwarewise,the colors are off and those sound effects are very annoying.

I played and saw a lot of people playing this game in my teens. The colors and sounds are not correct. It is strange that there is no motherboard left in good condition, since all arcades had one or more of these machines. Joguei e vi muita gente jogando este jogo na minha adolescência. this is on the same hardware as galaxian, so it actually uses a simple dac for most of the sound
