- Mila is only 2 years old. She has been diagnosed with Trisomy 21, also known as Down Syndrome. Here she is on the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential campus, demonstrating her reading and math ability.

When She picked out the small numbers you had my curiosity. When she was able to select the correct high numbers from the dots in seconds, now you have my attention.

Just started reading the gentle revolution series. This man Glenn Doman and his team are one of the greatest things ever happened to the mankind. Reading these books, has made me realise how important the early years of a child are.

Dang, that's impressive! I mean, I started reading at age 2, but there's no way in hell I could read the word "beautiful".
She couldn’t read it she just knew it was the longer word and picked it instead of the word with less letters.
What was the process before she got to this level?

Bueno!! Wow, she can see how many dots are on the card?
She's simply recognising the pattern of dots. She doesn't actually count them. Her mother has taught taught how many dots on each card, or the number name of the card, and that's what she's remembering.

You should have taught him a sight vocabulary from a baby like my mum did with me. If you don’t research stuff that helps and do nothing it’s why your boy doesn’t speak or read.
Im not even learnt read and write until 6 year old and start schools and im not Down Syndrome. My parent give me lots of time to be playfull instead 😄😄😄

Savants are found in autistic kids not on Down syndrome
and i'm sorry to say a future heartbreaker.,.,.lol
So all those kids can pseuoread by overlearning some signs they have been shown, but they are not really able to speak. Sorry: But I have seen some dog trainers from Japan doing stuff like that with their dogs too. Of course this is neither reading nor doing math.
