- A Massive Hadluka lit up the sky in the Town of Palm Tree (formally known as Kiryas Joel) on Monday evening May 8th 2023 as tens of thousands of Satmar Chassidim joined their Rebbe, HaRav Aharon Teitelbaum, as they celebrated Lag Baomer.
The event in Kiryas Joel is believed to be the largest individual Lag Baomer Hadluka and celebration in the United States.
Around 30,000 people descended on a tiny Orange County village for what's called the largest party of its kind in the United States.
A festive Jewish Holiday began Wednesday night at sundown. Celebrations for Lag BaOmer were held across New York State, including small bonfire celebrations in Rockland County and also in Brooklyn, New York.
But the biggest celebration in the United States was held in Orange County.
If you are unfamiliar, Lag BaOmer, (pronounced Lag-Bay-Oh-Mehr) is a Jewish holiday that's celebrated on the 33rd day of the Counting of the Omer, which occurs on the 18th day of the Hebrew month of Iyar, according to Chabad.org. The holiday pays tribute to Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai who died on the date about 19-hundred years ago.
"Lag BaOmer, the 33rd day of the Omer count-this year, Monday May 8th, 2023-is a festive day on the Jewish calendar. It is celebrated with outings (on which children traditionally play with bows and arrows), bonfires, parades and other joyous events," Chabad states about the holiday. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who lived in the second century of the Common Era, was the first to publicly teach the mystical dimension of the Torah known as the Kabbalah, and is the author of the classic text of Kabbalah, the Zohar. On the day of his passing, Rabbi Shimon instructed his disciples to mark the date as 'the day of my joy.'"
The "day of joy" is celebrated around the world, including at Kiryas Joel in Orange County, New York. The celebration at Kiryas Joel is billed as the largest party of its kind in the United States,

קדושה ושמחה במקום אחד
I always wanted to try Shabbat. I never done it before because I was raised Catholic. I think the Jewish religion is so fascinating are used to had to a friend, but she moved as she was very religious in the Jewish religion. And she told me about the kosher way of her religion. My mom and dad didn’t understand because they weren’t Jewish so I explain to my parents that that they can’t have cheese and meat together because that’s not in the Torah so I told her why don’t you just take the meat and the cheese off and I guess will be OK but I guess not so what I did is that I gave her new sandwich without the cheese in the meat and it was OK for her to eat but I think Shabbat is very interesting but I do like the challah bread try to make French toast with it it’s really good cause I know you eat kosher so don’t put the milk in the eggs try without the milk and just use the eggs and dip it in the bread and then you cook it in the frying pan it’s really good I don’t know if that’s kosher or not but but I think you would like it and add a little cinnamon to it for flavor
If you read the book of acts. You'll see the lord cleansed the meat. That is why this practice was abandoned. The angels came from God and said the meat is clean for us to eat now.
@@BigLui2909...yes Paul the mini-god annulled G-d's law
@jakestaylor-hf1co careful. You have no basis for that. It would be like saying moses went up a mountain and made the laws himself. Jesus is the word made flesh and was there in the beginning. Read Psalm 22. Read isaiah 53. JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. you can't go to the father without him. If your faith is as strong as you boast, then ask your father in heaven with a humble heart, and the truth will be given to you.

Extremely dangerous cult.
Exactly right. The Kabbalistic Jews are the Zionists who fomented WW1 and WW2.
cry more.
all relkigion is very dangerous, The holy soul HATES religion,, But I must say the music is unreal, jewish songs are so sooo beautiful,, the religion stinks, They say we LOVEEEE God yet some can be found to reject opinions that are not accepatble. = Not of God The few bad pollute the good.
Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai was a man, and they are worshipping him in this ritual with a burning of cake. False idol worship. These are the same people that denounce the messiah Jesus but worship this rabbi for his mysticism. Beware of hypocrisy
That’s not cake
Nobody's worshipping R Shimon bar Yochai, nor any other man... that's why they won't worship Jsu. Jews worship only Gd, but they're not afraid to honor ppl, which Xianity doesn't understand because Jsu doesn't honor parents, in-laws, etc.; he said it himself & expects his followers to follow his same bad example by hating every possible family & social connection (Mt.10:34; Lk.12:51; 14:26). The entire Tanakh teaches that we honor elders & the godly generations before us! You misunderstand bcoz "NT" has messed with your mind. And don't tell me I misunderstand Xianity... this is coming from someone who was a radical Xian for 40 years before finally studying enough Tanakh to see the Truth & getting out of the capsized lies of "NT" & church!
Looks like false god worship to me
Never! It's orderly, alive, happy, honoring, & celebratory, tradition, culture! The worst is the Xian festivals of Xmas, Easter, etc., etc., that are pagan made to look like Biblical! Xians think everything, except them, are wrong! And don't tell me I misunderstand Xianity... I was a radical Xian for 40 years before finally studying enough Tanakh to see the Truth & come out of the capsized lies of "NT" & church!
