I can provide you with a general outline of the steps involved in moving a virtual machine from Hyper-V to Azure. Here’s a guide to help you migrate your Windows Server 2022 virtual machine from Hyper-V to Azure:
      Prepare the Virtual Machine:
Shut down the Windows Server 2022 virtual machine running on Hyper-V.
Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to manage resources in Azure.
      Export the Virtual Machine:
In Hyper-V Manager, right-click on the virtual machine and select “Export.”
Choose a location to save the exported virtual machine files.
      Prepare Azure Resources:
Log in to the Azure portal (portal.azure.com).
Create a new storage account and container to store the virtual machine VHD files.
      Upload VHD to Azure Storage:
Use Azure Storage Explorer or AzCopy to upload the exported VHD files to the Azure storage account.
      Create a Managed Disk:
In the Azure portal, navigate to the storage account where you uploaded the VHD files.
Create a managed disk from the uploaded VHD file.
Create a Virtual Machine in Azure:
In the Azure portal, go to “Virtual machines” and click “Add” to create a new virtual machine.
Choose the appropriate settings, including the managed disk created from the VHD file.
      Configure Networking and Security:
Set up networking, security groups, and any other required configurations for the Azure virtual machine.
      Start the Azure Virtual Machine:
Once the virtual machine is created, start it in Azure and verify that it boots up correctly.
      Update DNS and Network Settings:
Update DNS records and network settings to ensure that the Azure virtual machine is accessible.
      Testing and Validation:
Test the connectivity and functionality of the Windows Server 2022 virtual machine in Azure to ensure that the migration was successful.
By following these steps, you should be able to migrate your Windows Server 2022 virtual machine from Hyper-V to Azure. It’s essential to plan the migration carefully and test the Azure virtual machine thoroughly to ensure a successful migration.
If you encounter any specific issues or need further assistance during the migration process, feel free to ask for help. Good luck with moving your virtual machine to Azure!

I’m sorry to hear about the issue with your Synology 916+ NAS storage device and the SHR pool crash. When a RAID 5 SHR pool experiences multiple hard drive failures, it can lead to data loss or inaccessibility. However, there are steps you can take to attempt data recovery from the failed SHR pool:
      Do Not Modify the Drives:
It’s crucial not to make any changes to the drives or the RAID configuration to avoid further data loss.
Avoid rebuilding the RAID array or initializing the drives, as this can overwrite the existing data
      Use Specialized Data Recovery Software:
You can try using specialized data recovery software like Hetman RAID Recovery to attempt to recover data from the failed SHR pool.
Hetman RAID Recovery is designed to handle various RAID configurations, including RAID 5, and can help recover data from failed RAID arrays.
      Follow Data Recovery Best Practices:
When using data recovery software, ensure that you follow best practices such as recovering data to a different drive to avoid overwriting the original data.
Carefully review the recovered data to ensure that all important files are successfully recovered.
      Avoid DIY Attempts:
It’s important to avoid DIY attempts to repair the RAID array or recover data, as incorrect actions can lead to permanent data loss.
Given the complexity of the situation with multiple hard drive failures in the SHR pool, it’s best to seek professional data recovery services for the highest chance of successful data recovery. Professional data recovery experts can assess the situation, determine the extent of data loss, and provide guidance on the best course of action for data recovery.
