  • In this video, I will be making coloured acrylic using the Riya Mica powder. I purchased this set of powder from Amazon and wanted to see how it would turn out being mixed with both clear and white acrylic powder. #Beginner#nails#making#colour#acrylic#selftaught#

I realize this is an old video, so if you don't see this and or respond I understand. But first of all I LOVE LOVE LOVE your accent! It's so pretty! Love hearing you talk!..... this part I promise is only constructive criticism, not even criticism really. I don't mean it that way at all. You do what works for you girl! But all that being said, the reason your powders are drying faster is because of the acetone you're using in your brush, then dipping it into your monomer. You can add just a couple tiny drops of acetone to monomer to make it set/dry faster. So imagine how much acetone you're getting into your monomer. White does dry quicker too, you are right about that. Also that acetone will dry out your brush over time. I get you don't wanna contaminate your monomer, that stuff is expensive. And if it's its not messing with your brush and is working for you, like I said, you do what works for you love. But just cleaning my brushes once in a while in acetone (before I knew this) ruined some really expensive brushes! I started not using acetone AT ALL on my brushes! Even to clean them I use monomer. You wouldn't believe the difference in the brushes! And how much longer they last!....... I've tried the chalk thing, making color acrylic powder. It was okay. But I'm definitely gonna get me some of these mica powders and try this! This looks fun! And I buy color powders ALL THE TIME. It would save me so much money!...... lots of love to you and God bless!!!!

Wow it’s so easy now to see exactly what the big companies do to make all sorts of colours and then charge us a fortune for! This was a brilliant video thanks for your hard work 🇦🇺❤️

, I love exploring different things to use to make acrylic powder I've also used eyeshadow works very very good and of course the mica chalk have beautiful colors. I'd like to glitter colors I can mix the Glitters no problem with clear acrylic but I'd like to know how you put the color in order you just add color to glitter like how they do it on the company if you know let me know if you have suggestions for glitter
