Your disassembling of the controller is more fun than other tutorial videos
I could just see how hard he works on his videos he was willing to potentially break his controller just to show us one of the more underrated channels hop u hit 1 mil
I actually did a duelsense mod today- added RGB LEDs beneath the buttons and back paddles, ended up keeping the buttons, trackpad, triggers and the black bit that was taken off first the same but swapped out the case and sticks for transparent ones. The black and white are a suprisingly nice contrast to the clear plastic

Imagine slapping some white analog sticks & Playstation button, and that controller would be CLEAN. Still looks really good though!

Yea swapping the buttons and bottom trim I think is enough.
Swapping the touch pad too is a little too much red (black would probably work though)

I think the touchpad should be left white too, this was an amazing tutorial.
A set of spiderman controllers with the red in those spots and replace the white parts with blue (or black depending on which style you want) would be super cool.
Dbrand and extremerate are the best for change the color or modding.

I liked how it looked but in my opinion I think the buttons would looked better with the original buttons and dpad
I opened my remote, put it back together. Everything was fine and then after a while the Bluetooth stopped working. Do you know why? Or which part controls Bluetooth?

@kevinkenson do you think the X, square, triangle and circle buttons are interchangeable with dual shock 4 buttons? I want to customize my dual sense and style it like in a 20th anniversary ps4 style. I already customized my ps5 plates in a metallic grey color.
I think the controller would look nice as is, but with white analog sticks in place of the standard ones
I’m planning on doing something like this soon, but I’m going to use a black controller with the chrome blue color for the buttons

Kevin kenson I went to color ware website and then I left the main body white and for the middle, buttons and touchpad I put midnight matte blue color but I wanted to change the thumb sticks to white and change the rest of the buttons to midnight matte blue color how can I get my controller the way I want it

So I'm having a really hard time deciding. For about 4 months already I cant decide whether I should get Xbox or Dualsense controller. I play on pc and mobile, and I have never owned a PlayStation or Xbox. I really cant decide. Both feel good for me so its really hard for me to decide.
I'm late, but... What's the touch pad even good for, outside Astro? Even on PS4, the touch pad was... never really used. It's a good extra button, but that's independent of the touch sensitivity. Honestly I'd like to see it used more, since I love the idea of more integrated tech, but I don't really see HOW it can be used more while maintaining immersion in a game.
Yea I think that it looked better with the touch pad white while the buttons were red but it looked good both ways

I'm doing both of my controllers in Scarlet Red and the pad does scare me but I'm ok with maybe breaking one of them. I really wish they would have just dropped the pad this time around. I almost never use it anyways.

That controller would be perfect with white Joysticks. The black just doesnt look quite right, overall though that an amazing shell exchange.
