Great video. I knew something about this looked familiar. I was 100m down the road at Pot Alley in 2008 on a holiday to Australia. Back then I used to geo tag my raw files from my old garmin hiking gps unit and sure enough it was just around the corner from where you shot this.
Yet another great video Andrew. I find your videos to be very informative and relatable for someone who is also in Australia. The places you visit and the compositions you find. Keep up the great work.
Colour tones in those final images were amazing Andrew and think your compositional decisions paid off for you as you seemed to maximise the conditions you were dealing with
I find with your videos you will show us a composition and l will look at it and say yeah it ok but when you show the finished image it is fantastic, sign of a good photographer l guessing, well done.
My preference out of the two images is the blue hour shot… so when did you go from Nikon to Fuji Andrew? I must have missed that switch. Is it the 50 or the 100? Most Importantly, what’s your conclusion?
Excellent video. Loved it when you said, you need to make a decision and it is better to make one which is right/wrong as compared to not make and it is wrong. I love Mushroom Rock and have taken Milky Way Images here and didn't shoot seascapes as the kids were running around.. How good are the crabs there?
The final shot was my favourite for this vlog, just pipping the one at 12mins. I liked the voiceovers too. Cheers. ps Just noticed you've hit 48K subscribers, congratulations.
Great stuff Andrew, always get so jealous watching Australia based photographers. Between the weather and the landscape you've got it good down there. Cheers
@@Andrew_marr lol, you should come to Ireland some time, we have plenty of wind, along with sideways rain and permagrey skies, would give you a whole new appreciation of Oz
I’ve moved over to NISI filters, that’s what I’m using in this video. If you live in Australia you can get them through my website - andrewmarr.com.au/nisi-filters If you live outside Oz, you can use the links in the description below the video.
@@daviddowling9830 Ah. In Darwin you have to get a permit to photograph in national parks and anywhere around the council parks including beach reserves. If you are using the images for commercial purpose.
Excellent episode Andrew, so much subject matter to choose from on the WA coast line. 😳 I’m off to San Remo (Phillip Island, Victoria) tomorrow to try my luck with a sunrise… although weather looking a bit chilly 🥶👍🏻🍷❤️🇦🇺 cheers from Traralgon

The last image was fantastic! Thanks for following you on the trip :)
Great seaside shots as always Andrew. Heading out for a week of this tomorrow. Good tips.

Excellent, thanks for the information.
That second last shot is gorgeous! No mistakes, here! 👍😄

Cheers mate, yeah can't complain, although I could do with less wind some days 🤣 I appreciate you sharing your comment Michael! 👍

I can't seem to find it in your video's: what filters are you using?

Great captures Andrew. It’s always a pleasure watching your videos bud!
Just a query. Do you get permission from parks to take photos for commercial sale?
The parks belong to the people not the government,to charge for taking photos is unimaginable to me,
