I’m literally playing it now as I’m typing this and I’m enjoying the hell of it. You’re right I work 8-5 Monday to Friday so I don’t have as much time as some others to play but I’m still loving it. I’m levelling up the weapon up every single game like that doesn’t happen in pretty much any other game especially when that weapon is now at level 143

No, all the camping is done on Objective modes… Usually Snipers hanging back and not helping, then they yell at the team for being useless when they don’t win! 🤦♂️🤣
Cant camp in a game where at least one person on each team has legal wall hacks as a perk. Lol

I’m taking advantage of this weekend by leveling the shotguns up to 200 before anything. Tryna save myself a headache later on by enduring it now.
Update just incase anyone was wondering: I was able to level all the shotguns up to gold today, very painful.

I was able to get my ACR Gold, My AK-47, and MDR Silver and My M4 and M16 Bronze. The double Xp weekend has been a huge success for me!

I agree, playing today I found the gun leveling so much more satisfying, which makes the overall game more satisfying. I want the weapon XP system to stay exactly like this. Leveling the battle pass still feels a bit slow to me. I'm at level 28 of the battle pass and I'm level 35 in the game. So I don't think I'm gonna be able to finish the battle pass before it ends in 2 days. I'm excited for season 1 to release.
Casual player here not the worst but I only have 3 mvp's and this xp retool has been great! I plan on slowly grinding the camos out for the long term but I did take advantage of this weekend and unlocked ALL attachments for the guns! Now I can take my time hitting gold and I'm in no rush, also I'm saving all my double xp tokens because I heard there going to update where they no longer run out inbetween games in the lobby. Great video man I can't wait to play this game for years to come!

I think this is how weapon leveling should be in all game modes and that is where the problem is. If you don’t want there to be weapon xp for playing the objective then this is how getting weapon xp should work. Hopefully Mark Rubin does this because right now tdm is the only game mode worth playing
simply because they listen and have a plan to release more content regularly while having a game i enjoy playing is plenty for me to stay for 10 years
I think it's smart on their part to have a double xp every weekend since many people are off not as busy. I am fairly happy with the heart and soul they have put in the game so far
You lvl up so fast with quad xp now that while in game i cant hear a thing going on a lot of the time because the lvl up weapon pop up keeps playing over and over haha.
Sadly i ran out of tokens now. :(
I got super lucky and activated an XP booster right before having the craziest TDM game ever. I went on a 20+ killstreak and ended up getting 38 primary weapon and 7 secondary levels. They were popping up all the time, and it felt amazing!
It’s so good hearing the level up medal pop up on your screen every few seconds 😂

Yea, I work in random hours. Got 2 guns to gold in 8 hrs. Love the experience update. Hope it comes frquently
I’m sorry, I wasn’t gonna say this mate, but something you said is bugging me a bit! See, my son and I both play OBJ we encourage people to play OBJ, otherwise go play TDM. Now, you said there’s no bonus to playing OBJ, but I have to argue there is! Because, unless my son and I are the exception to the ”rule” we both get 150 XP per kill when on the objective, be it offensive or defensive… So, to say “there’s no bonus” is technically a lie, right? Also, you would think that would be a sort of incentive to PTFO… 🤔That last part is for anyone else reading that doesn’t do that! 😅
Been playing a mix of gears of war 3 and 2, xdefiant even some og mw3 most fun ive had in gaming in a while
With quad XP you should be getting a level every level after a 7 kill streak. It's 14 kill streak with just double XP and 28 with normal XP.
I have mixed feelings about this game, I don’t know how you manage to stand up there without getting shot? When I stand up top like that I’m shot almost immediately! Also when I shoot someone! 9 out of 10 times I am immediately shot in the back. No one talks about the spawn points in this game, but I can tell you they are definitely broken! The amount of times I kill someone and the same person then shoots me in the back is unreal. Still much better than playing COD though with its daft eomm or SBMM bull. I think the game will just get better and better 👍
That's the whole point of it. You think none of us went through tht? You play enough, you will get better as u go. You will come to find urself managing situations better, expecting spawn points etc... then you'll start to notice you have a easier time through most lobbies, cuz its varied but you're moving up skill wise. Ull emulate what youtubers do easier, you'll get more and more good games. The feel good hormones kick in cuz u see progress. For now you might avoid that spot then and pick easier gunfights but you will eventually find urself holding onto positions like such w/o even realizing. That's how its supposed to be, you put in the time so you should feel the progress you making.
But if the game analyzes ur progress and updates the player pool u face, then u wont ever see urself getting better cuz u will always only face players w ur exact skill.
Say u were a 2/10 then u get better and become 3/10, if u faced 1 and 2 nd even 3 ud noticed cuz lobbies are become progressively easier for you, but if when u become a 3 u only face 3, or when u get to 7 u only face 7 or 8 its just a constant struggle or trying ur best every time w no real reward. This is not competitive, its casual for a reason. U have the right mentality, and even the best youtubers were where u are now or even lower at some point. Just remember the amount of time they have put into games like such over the years totally eclipes urs. So its normal they are doing things u can't do yet.

Skill issue
Yeah I was the same way, you just gotta keep moving. Be tactical and play spawn points. Being able to read the mini map is key
The spawns are some of the best we’ve had in any shooter. That’s a skill issue on your part. The spawns are predictable and only occur at two points on any map. Also, you can tell where the enemy is going to spawn based on the positions of your teammates. It isn’t rocket science.

You're wrong tho. You don't have to do longshots etc, to level up your weapon in CoD. That's just for camo's.
...And honestly, just leveling up weapons for camo's, without any challenges, is boring.
I think you’re wrong. Its not boring. Making challenges that completely change your play style is not only extremely monotonous and boring, but also frustrating. It is not fun to have to do challenges for camos. This dev team clearly puts fun over anything and thats why this game is doing well.

I like camo challenges, earnable killstreaks and just all the bells and whistles CoD provides. For me, a barebones arena shooter with minimum challenges just gets boring too quickly.
I’m happy with the change. Gold is cool but nothing special. It’ll be exciting to see what come at level 400-1000
I enjoy the game, but they’ve now made gold camo pretty much worthless. Everybody can get it and you can get it so quick. I played a couple of hours tonight and put 65 levels on a LMG. That’s ridiculous.
people who are good can easily get the camos, but if you weren’t already good enough to go on a 10+ streak, you won’t be able to easily get the gold camo

Last night i went on a 25 KillStreak on Arena with a 2xp Boost and went up 41 levels!!! Playing Team Deathmatch!!

This game is good. The problem is the FPS category is so dry you might overplay this game insted of having a good rotation of other games. And get tired of this too soon. Season 1 will spice it up for sure. Im a sweaty try hard. I have much fun playing this.

I've completely stopped playing the game sadly, because I have a problem with temperatures. THIS GAME ONLY makes my cpu reach 90 celcius and turn itself off because it gets too hot and I can't fix it. It doesnt happen in any other games and keep in mind i play games like elden ring.
What type of CPU do you have? It shouldn't shut itself off at 90, that is pretty normal while under load. If it is shutting off then it is probably going way over 90, and if that is the case it is because you may have improper cooling.
That’s strange, I’d suggest writing Mark on Twitter or posting a post on their bug report page to make sure they know about this
This is literally a skill issue. Learn how to properly build a PC and maintain it. Maybe you should get a console

@@Thrashifice I have a Ryzen 5 5600, I game with 75-80 max most of the time except for this game. I looked it up on Reddit and more people with ryzen cpus (and some intel) have this issue and it’s not just me.

Shotguns do not need buffs, if you know how to move and understand the map it gets very easy, especially if you use cleaner

I wish I had weapon xp tokens this weekend. Using one would have meant I would have ranked my m16 up 36 levels in one match instead of 18 😂. That would have been mental 😂

The leveling is through the roof now. I’m leveling pistols right now. Popped an xp boost, plus the double xp weekend. Went from lvl 0 to Gold Camo in an hour and a half, got 30+ levels a game playing TDM. It took me like half a week when this game first came out to get my Magnum to gold.

I never play for the camos i play for the fun an if i get the camos its when i get them besides I enjoy the time spending with the weapon (to understand it not just for game mechanics but on a philosophical level as well)
Side note: season 1 is in a few days if i remember correctly

I’m pretty much the same way, this is the first year I actually decided to grind out these camos only because it’s much simpler. Usually I play to enjoy the game and if something gets unlocked, then it gets unlocked!

Bro I used 1 double xp token on top of the new update and double xp weekend and was literally getting a level per kill or 2 😂, it's crazy broken but I'm saving most tokens for the new camos
I hope that the XP you have translate to the next season though. Levels going up to 400 is going to be crazy. I already had leveled up 2 guns to 200 without the new update and honestly I’d love to see them go to nearly 300 💀 lot of work put in for what seems like nothing otherwise

As much as cod is more fluid,- everything outside the gameplay sucks. Xdefiant might not be as smooth, but its fun. As a solo player all fps games multiplayer can get boring but i think a yearly release makes things worse

I understand the frustration but it won’t kill the game. There are plenty of games that use these features and they are completely thriving. That’s like saying rainbow six siege will die because you can’t jump or slide cancel. Different games have different vibes and we have to respect what each game is trying to be. If we don’t enjoy it, there’s 1000 other FPS games that will be better for the mood you are in.
No matter what people are gonna cry. Look at the og mw2 snipers and tell me those weren’t op lol. I got both my snipers max and honestly there both mid and feel clunky at times. Just not good at a video game and will look at any excuse instead of blaming who’s really at fault.
@@JbowenDaMan i personally think they just need to bring more updates out. Snipers don't really bug me, bunny hopping does. But maybe if they update the bunny hopping to sway on the second jump, it would discourage people from doing it all the time.
Buddy I love ur channel but I got news for u there r no casual players in xdefiant...it's a constant sweatfest....unless u have a.d.d. and r on adarol topped off with gfuel ur not enjoying this game...for someone like me who only has an hr or two too play and u just wanna jump on get a few kills and a few wins this game is impossible....this game was developed for run and gun computer players ...if they can't figure out how to keep the casuals playing this game will fail....no matter how much fun it is for computer players shooting fish in a barrel

It’s bad news for the sweats, but the sweats are always gonna fly through everything regardless. For the casuals this is amazing especially for people who have very few hours to spare per day.

I play daily, but to me the game is just ok. Its not great. Its getting boring. I understand the content creators will shill for views and $$, but be realistic, this game isnt amazing. Its mid at best.

That’s a fair opinion, I’ve been in love with this game even before anyone in the COD community knew about it. If I like a game, Ima tell people how much I love it. I said the same thing about islands of Nyne and the game is dead now, but do you know how many people said the same thing that I’m shilling for the game? Even after the games death I still think it was one of the best BR’s ever made. People have opinions, just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean someone’s opinion is magically invalid. I see plenty of people who despise Xdefiant, and at the same time I see plenty of people who love it. If you love it, you shouldn’t be shocked that people don’t like it, and if you hate the game you shouldn’t be shocked if others enjoy it. It’s all opinions.
I hope they don't keep adding mastery camos. Already gold doesn't feel as cool.. after this batch of new skins I hope it's done. If I grind them. Unlock them. Then they release more. I will be done with grinding camos. I need an end goal. Not more and more to grind for and take away from just enjoying the game. After mastery is unlocked I'm never touching the svd again. Lol thank God for 2x weekend
I think the problem here is that it’s a live service game that’s free to play, they will always have to create reasons for casual players to hop back into the experience which includes more camos to grind. But you can always consider gold to be max camo and leave it at that (since that is when the OG grind ends)
@JbowenDaMan I guess it depends if mastery is just max level for 1 gun. Or u need all guns maxed like Damascus from MW 2019. I'll use the guns I like till lvl 1000 np. But asking me to keep grinding the pistols and svd over and over again is just cruel lol

Why would I play the other modes when you get a guaranteed boost in TDM? The boost isn’t bad in OBJ modes, but if it’s significantly better in TDM wouldn’t it be a waste of time to not play the heck out of TDM during this limited time we get an XP boost?
Whatever they did to the health in one of the last updates made the game feel like absolute fn trash and the net code is worse than ever. I'm running average 330 fps on a 4k monitor with 1.2 gbps internet so I can feel when things are changed. Just like COD i can tell when the game feels legit or feels like it's being manipulated.
I mean this really didn’t change anything and no casual players are actually that plays it everyday 😂
It didn’t change much for you? That’s interesting, I’ve gone from getting 3-4 levels a game to almost maxing out 20 every match. I’ve been flying through the grind at this rate
