WHO AM I?

Deuteronomy 16.3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
Doug, I think we have to be able to face truth, even if it's bad. Like Christ had to live with & face that He was going to be crucified and the hearts of men are wicked.
Otherwise, it's called denial.
The world is bad and Jesus warns us about it and not to identify with it & think of it as home.
& He tells us our bodies are temporary and will die. These are not happy Ideas!
However, if we don't lose sight that God is good and is for us and will help us when we ask & that He's always good with good intentions towards & understands us.
That helps us to cope with the realities of this life, that after all is a trial of testing!
Who likes tests? Lol
But as some say "You can't have a testimony without a test".
So, I think there is a balancing of keeping the end in mind of Christ returning & that things might get worse maybe much worse before we come to the end.
So, also, it's important not to take tomorrow for granted but not be afraid or doom and gloom either.
I hope you can understand what I'm trying to convey. I'm not a good communicate like you are.

He literally meant literal mountains. Ask for That faith if you don't believe He meant literal mountains. God performs the act however He sees fit and you just ask and believe He will answer yay or nay. The mountains are going to be destroyed anyway. The Joy of the Lord Jesus Christ IS my strength!!
