This is a very early video of George Harliono, now one of the most renowned and respected young concert pianists in the world. Incredible! He has his own youtube channel.
This would almost be unbelievable if it was not seen with your own eyes, this kid is something very special, he has been given a gift from god and we are all witness to that, play on young man, greatness awaits you.
Wow seams like everyone is more into the camera work this guy did> HELLO PEOPLE SUPER TALENTED KID PLAYING BEAUTIFUL CLASSICAL MUSIC This kid is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
The first piece is Liszt's transcription of a Paganini caprice. It's etude #3 in G sharp minor "La Campanella" - the second piece is Beethoven's first piano sonata, op.2, the 4th movement.
So kind of you to share your talents and gifts, such an unaffordable live music performance to the people on the street... =) It's like a "donation" to the cultural lives of the people..
For a kid to play La Campanella by Paganini like this is very very impressive! good job kid keep doing what your doing and you you're future is promised
This is one very talented young gentleman. Thanks for the video O.O.O I watched it just fine. Everybody thinks they are a lecturer on t'interweb. Ignore them and carry on.
Amazing to stumble upon something like this, eh? :-) GetMeInNow123 posted the name below. It is George Harliono, a 10-year-old concert-level musician. wow. George has his own YT channel. Thanks, OnlyOnceOccluded, for catching this, and sharing it.
You have it exactly right. I didn't post this video to show off my (absence of) videographic skills; I put it online to share my experience of having seen something that was genuinely awesome. And I mean that in the dictionary rather than the idiomatic sense of the word.
what do i love most about this video? two things... this kid is amazing...and the top comments are great. the fact that the video of the artist helps another artist....awesome
It's a DSLR, the changing of the focus is human error, by fucking with the focus ring, or by failing with the autofocus button. I think it's the first one though, because the autofocus motor makes a lot of noise.
At last someone that understands that a tripod is nice, but it doesn't fit in the pocket. Besides, I am sure you did not plan on seeing such a wonderful person...
That's great for a first posting,, Only took a year to find something worthy and you hit it big time.. Great video, I have done worse and my group loves them... Have a cheery good day!
Perhaps I'm the only one but I love the effect of the focus shifting, it's artistic and suits the video well. But who am I, I only do video editing for a living.
I think the focus was meant for us to think that we are in a dream and this kid is just part of out imagination. Then we discover it was real and we'd be like "HOLY SHIT!".
As the guy in the tweed jacket, I was extremely hungover but soon got over it after seeing this performance!! The kids a legend!!
Lol
I think you would play like that after a lifetime of privet lesson

This kid is an absolutely genius.
What is really impressive is that the boy manages to play something worth listening to on a virtually unplayble beat up old piano!
La Campanella, by Franz Liszt. Having tried playing it myself, I'm amazed his little hands are managing so well.
This would almost be unbelievable if it was not seen with your own eyes, this kid is something very special, he has been given a gift from god and we are all witness to that, play on young man, greatness awaits you.
George I just love the way you could flat tear a piano up at that age! I just love you!
Thanks Toni!
Who cares about the camera! You just need to listen, not look! Absolutely wonderful...
this kid gives me hope, most kids his age would be playing videogames instead, keep on exploring the wonderful world that is music
Wow
seams like everyone is more into the camera work this guy did>
HELLO PEOPLE
SUPER TALENTED KID PLAYING BEAUTIFUL CLASSICAL MUSIC
This kid is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Amazing! These people have the right idea stopping and listening to this beautiful music. I wish the video guy could have stayed a while longer.
Thank you for being there - on that date time and place. I couldn't play as well as this boy if I live to be 100.
The first piece is Liszt's transcription of a Paganini caprice. It's etude #3 in G sharp minor "La Campanella" - the second piece is Beethoven's first piano sonata, op.2, the 4th movement.
Last I checked, you don't need eyes to hear how incredible this child is.
talent, confidence and clearly loves playing the piano :) superb
So kind of you to share your talents and gifts, such an unaffordable live music performance to the people on the street... =)
It's like a "donation" to the cultural lives of the people..

For a kid to play La Campanella by Paganini like this is very very impressive!
good job kid keep doing what your doing and you you're future is promised
I dont see why people are complaining about the camera work. This is phenomenal, hope that young man keeps with his amazing talent.
Don't care about the quality of the video. I just wish there was more. Thank you for posting this. You made my night!

The kid plays wonderfully, with or without camera work
Amazing to stumble upon something like this, eh? :-)

That's a pretty monster piece for a kid to tackle, but it's coming along nicely!
Beautiful. Thankyou.
The first part is "La Campanella", Franz Litszt, but i don't know the second part, but it seem's to be from Liszt too...
I think so too - it adds to a unique moment!
Love this kid 👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍👍👍👍
All by memory without reading. A ginius
amazing! Thank you so much for filming and for posting!
Thanks for the video! I don't mind if it's shaky, your son is going to be a GREAT PIANIST without any doubt. Be proud! :)
You have it exactly right. I didn't post this video to show off my (absence of) videographic skills; I put it online to share my experience of having seen something that was genuinely awesome. And I mean that in the dictionary rather than the idiomatic sense of the word.
Today he is already a great pianist George harliiono
I'm left speechless
Aaargh!!!You stopped! I understand why,but you leave us wanting more. What was the reaction of the crowd and from him? Thank you for sharing!
A true shame you didn't stick around til the end of the performance for a bow.
@poster, thanks for sharing
@music, wow. Keep at it kid!
what do i love most about this video? two things... this kid is amazing...and the top comments are great. the fact that the video of the artist helps another artist....awesome
The second is the Piano Sonata No. 1, by Beethoven (4th movement) !
thank you for recording this beautiful video. i dont care about the video technical stuff. thumbs up for u
I needed this...thanks.
Beautiful, thank you so much for this!
despite everyone bickering about the focus, this is remarkable!
Ohh, that's a UA-cam feature! Thanks loads, it's been so frustrating trying to figure out what strange mutant cameras everyone was getting lately.
너무나 훌륭한 영혼을 울리는 소리를 탄생시킨 감동적인 소년은 제의 2의 베에토밴이 환생을 한 것입니다!
absolutely amazing, thank you for uploading
For some reason, the way he plays is actually better than the original.
What? This is classical music. He's not playing anything different from the original sheet music.
I made this comment 9 years ago, not sure what I meant.
Oh, I see
I can't help but giggle at his sudden -how do you describe that?- face at 2:29 hihi. Anyways, wonderfully played!!!
thanks for sharing.
Very nice indeed.
It's a DSLR, the changing of the focus is human error, by fucking with the focus ring, or by failing with the autofocus button. I think it's the first one though, because the autofocus motor makes a lot of noise.
Merveilleux
Сколько лет здесь Георге Харлионо? Играет професианально.
At last someone that understands that a tripod is nice, but it doesn't fit in the pocket. Besides, I am sure you did not plan on seeing such a wonderful person...
And I believe it is Souvenirs d'Andalousie, Op. 22
Fabulous. If he can play this well on a public piano, think how well he must play in a real setting. Did you get his name?
That's great for a first posting,, Only took a year to find something worthy and you hit it big time.. Great video, I have done worse and my group loves them... Have a cheery good day!
The only real problem is the sound of the motor autofocusing. But hey this is great, wish we could find more of this young lad. He will be a legend...
Thank you very much!
Perhaps I'm the only one but I love the effect of the focus shifting, it's artistic and suits the video well. But who am I, I only do video editing for a living.
That is George Harliono. Look him up.
The e-breath analyser would be a wonderful thing. You should look into it.
dooood!!! why'd you stop recording?? this kid is amazing.
thank you! :)
this kid is playing some amazing stuff and some of you are worried about the focus of the video? lol
I think the focus was meant for us to think that we are in a dream and this kid is just part of out imagination. Then we discover it was real and we'd be like "HOLY SHIT!".
Bravo!
You forgot to thank him for the upload
This video is an excellent example of why you don't use auto-focus and warp stabilizer.
The piano playing is of course beautiful.
AWESOME
*¬* OMG. This child makes my day
I believe the first piece is Louis Moreau Gottschalk.
the second piece is beethoven's 4th piano sonata - op 2 no 1. the 4th movement.
yeah check the description there's a link to his channel
He hasn't stopped yet.
Just a common every day work out of enjoying the piano 🎹😂
Thank you, but I've already learnt this lesson. Mainly due to the feedback from this video, mind you, but it's been learnt all the same.
George❤
🎹🎶❤️👏👏👏
Tu est simplemen trop fort !! *_*
I really doubt a kid as obviously musically talented as him would engage in any kind of "gangster" activity
MOAR!
They're all classical pieces. That's why they sound familiar.
absolutely.
In my trunk, yes. Think of it as a belated protest against the modern chatshow format.
liszt transcription of one of pagnini's caprices iirc
Brilliant.
Shame you had the auto-focus set to 'HIPSTERS IN BACKGROUND'.
Imagine living next door to him.
It would drive you nuts.
No it wouldn't drive you nuts. It would further your musical education, and so would his brother, and so would his sister...
this kid is simply amazing tbh, i couldnt care less for the filming:O as listening to it is, by far, good enough:)
It was a Nikon D7000 with a 70-200mm lens (no VR). Handheld - no steadicam or tripod.
Yep, you're right there.
Hey people, those focuses/pans are all post production. FYI.
