There are a few things that are missing in this pizza construction to make it really efficient. One is that the structure needs to be cured with a first fire before adding the insulation and render layers. Second is that after the chicken wire, a layer of vermiculite concrete needs to be added before the render. In this way you will ensure that your oven will reach the required 400 centigrade to cook a pizza in 1 minute and not waste fuel (wood) unnecessarily.

Except for the brick pizza oven which cooks a pizza under 1 minute. You have to work fast when you cook at a brick oven at extremely high heat.
