I am really proud that you donated for the palestine children's relief fund and encourage others to do so free Palestine 🇵🇸 💕🫂 Also congratulations on your new home 🏠 🥳
you and Joshua tearing the wall sticker was so cute and wholesome🥹 the only thought I had while watching that part was nice it is fall in love and marry your best friend
watching this actually made me emotional at how intimate and sweet it was like i just witnessed so many memories u and joshua made together and the whole rebirth of relocating and having new creative juices replenished is just soo revitalizing as a viewer. your new space looks so lovely and colorful already!! i cant wait to see the next eps
I've never felt more heard in a vlog (eg. room acoustics, lip popping, the satisfying feeling from peeling off wall vinyls & hidden laundry piles lol + all the silly little couple moments are the best, my fiancé and I are exactly like this 😂). So looking forward to the rest of the series!
Yo! So fun! Good luck with settling in and getting garden going. I’ve not done much planting but I recommend making raised beds or mixing the Hight. Otherwise remember to water the plants and when planting look at how nutrient or nitrogen positive or negative plants are and rotate them so the soil stays balanced.
as someone who had my childhood in three different houses, i get the sentimentality that comes with moving. I get attached to A LOT of things too so this video deeply resonated with me and i felt the intimacy and freshness this gives in terms of watching Dish's videos. i really enjoyed this video so much :)). good luck w everything and i hope the gatos feel comfortable soon at your new place
Yayyyyy miss natural dish for a whole video 💙💙💙 i like that you're slowly making this channel literally you just without any filters Who doesn't love that from a creator, it does feel like we're turning into your real life friend as we go along which i love!
@@dishcreates i had hoped it would miss dish, because i was sure you didn't mention the "i got used to my natural face, it took 3 days" line for nothing. I just wanted to give reassurance on the matter which i suppose i was successful in!
I love this video/style of video so much dish!! I'm currently in the starting stages of moving as well, and seeing everything that needs to be sorted is so overwhelming... I just put your video in the background and got some serious decluttering done 😄 baby steps!!
Congrats on moving ms Dish!! This was such a cozy vlog, I think I'll come back to this when I declutter my own closet haha🥹 Can't wait for the garden vlogs! I hear planting marigolds and nasturtiums nearby veggies are good for dettering pests from them (kinda acting as bait, but also they're just really pretty), and you can't go wrong pollinator friendly plants!!🌻
I still live with my parents and we rent our house, but the owner of the house is selling it, so we have just a year to find a place for 5 with two rabbits and move out, watching this has helped me feel less stressed and more excited for the new journey, thank you Dish 😊
Congratulations on your new home! May it be filled with love, joy, and countless wonderful memories. Wishing you all the best as you settle in and make it your own. Cheers to new beginnings!
im moving back home to my parents place this month, turning 23 this year and just overwhelmed with it all. this really helped though, im feeling a bit better about moving now.
Congrats on the new move! :) It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who has neglected my closet at one point... the decluttering hack was so inspiring and I'll definitely have to do something similar with my own closet. Hope you, Josh, and the gatos are becoming well-accustomed to the new place! You may have already researched this, but from what I've gathered from watching and helping my mother with her huge garden, buying seeds from catalogs/local businesses or nurseries (or sites like eBay) rather from big chain stores tend to be higher quality, as some seeds may not be stored in correct conditions in bigger retailers. Crop rotations also massively improve soil health!! You may need to experiment with different types of soils and composts depending on the types of plants you'll be getting :) can't wait to watch your gardening journey!
i enjoy how the vlogs are, they dont need a lot of editing and dont need to put a lot of effort on. Obviously the editing, cutting and more are efforts that you put on and are appropriated
My wife and I are also moving soon from our apartment to a house. Movements are exciting, but also tiring and emotional. It's been really helpful to watch your process. Congratulations and enjoy your new home 😊
you sorting through your clothes has really inspired me to declutter. i have so many clothes i don't wear anymore, and a lot of things i could really afford to part with.
hellooooo 🥹 i have made a garden on top of a chunk of concrete over the last couple of years and it’s finally starting to look full of life! i have a couple tips that might be helpful! 1) it’s really tempting to get loads of plants in one go, especially when they’re small. but i found after i got a whole bunch of climbing plants in a fairly small garden that they do inevitably clash. so don’t go too crazy at first, especially with larger plants - plant some up one year, and after the next growing season you will probably have a better idea of how much space they’re taking up 2) speaking of space, definitely research the eventual size of larger plants like trees and shrubs. your space isn’t tiny but could be dwarfed by a big or fast-growing shrub 3) honestly my favourite tip is sometimes? letting weeds grow to see what they end up looking like. some of them are honestly very cute & if they’re not invasive, can also be awesome for pollinators and wildlife. plus, they’re free! 4) maybe make a planner of some kind/set reminders for when certain plants need planting or pruning - if you’re anything like me you’ll forget to plant them before the planting period otherwise 🙈 5) i’m UK based and idk if america does the same, but a lot of supermarkets have somewhat neglected plant and garden sections - sometimes at the end of the season, or if the plant is looking particularly tragic, they’ll reduce them to dirt cheap. i got a solanum for 50 pence as one of my first plant purchases and even though it looked half dead at the time, it’s one of the plants that’s thriving the most now! 6) check soil type requirements, sunlight requirements, and soil/pot depth requirements before buying - it helps you know which things can live together 7) check out companion planting for flowers and also food crops - it can reduce or eliminate the need to use chemicals for creatures that like eating them hehe 8) if you use fertiliser on plants you intend to eat, make sure they’re suitable for edible plants as not all of them are! okay that’s all i can think of. i’m no pro but these are the some of the things i wish i had known and considered when i first started my garden up. i’m sure you’re going to make it look absolutely delightful out there and i can’t wait to see it 🤗 🌼 🌱
oh also, mini greenhouses are great! you can get more affordable plastic ones or wooden and glass ones, but they’ll both work, and can be handy for the beginning of the planting year when it’s too cold to plant things outside 💚
this vlog was so entertaining yet peaceful,, i cant wait to see more content like this + your gardening journey! congrats on the move i hope you and joshua can make your new house into a home :)
Good luck on the garden! When we moved into our house it had been abandoned, so we also had a mess of an outdoor space to tackle. My not green thumb advice is more sunscreen than you think, invest in GOOD gardening gloves to protect hands and nails, and if you want wildlife to start any feeders/baths early and be patient. They take time to find them so don’t put them up as the final step if you want to enjoy seeing the birds once the work is done. ❤❤
Oomf You'll need to get the gravel out probably and put some plant soil into the gardenn. Or you can make raised plant beds! Wish you the best of luck!
My recommendation regarding gardening as a kid to a mom who made our garden a herb paradise, use egg shells. They contain a lot of nutrients so save your eggshells and crush them so you can use them in your soil. Oh and chicken poop, it's pretty good and doesn't attract insects like horse poop does
such a bittersweet feeling watching you tear down the streaming room, but at the same time I am so excited to see you moved onwards with your dream. I missed watching your videos. love, Mily
congrats on your new home ms dish 🥹❤ watching you clean up your closet makes me more motivated to clean up mine! your philosophy of picking the clothes out reminds me of Marie Kondo’s “does this spark joy” method :)
Maple syrup is a great flavor enhancer for a lot of drinks, I add it to a lot of my drinks instead of crystalized sugars. Honey is always better, but maple syrup is definitely a close second.
I personally like organizing things in my free time, so seeing you do the same is very entertaining to watch and I look forward to seeing the pebble garden transform! :D From the look of it, those pebbles are gonna be a real hassle, but with gardening everything is a hassle ;-;
I was raised in cluttered spaces so I completely understand you about the closet. Im still cluttered but im getting better. Dont judge yourself for it because the past doesnt matter if it's not indicative of the present.
i'm following mama's dish steps and i cleaned my room along her, a very much needed cleanse, might i say. i hope she knows that those videos help some of us to find the motivation. thank you, miss dish

eeee so excited for you ms dish!! lots of new beginnings, I started my first big girl job yesterday, its so nice when a creator you like is also in a transitionary period :)
You know, if those rocks are just sitting on landscaping material (the black tarp thing) it will be an easy clean up if you want to remove them to get to the soil. Congrats on the new place and new adventures!
ms dish this was so beautiful to watch, i'm so thankful you are sharing this with us as it's so intimate and personal. i'm beyond happy for you and joshua and ur gatos
Congrats!!! Idk if you’ve already purchased it or researched it but milorganite does wonders for gardens. I also saw a bag of jalapeños, in our garden we have ghost peppers and we’ve noticed that they start to lose their spice after about a year. So if your pepper plant seems off it might just be time to rip it up! I’m not an expert just what I’ve seen with our pepper plant. Much love and I’m so excited for the gardening series!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I've moved around a lot ever since I was a kid, pretty much every three years. Moving over the years became what I can only describe as slightly boring? It's been something of an inevitable in my life and my family has always joked that it's the only way to get rid of all the junk 😂 But watching you experience the ups and downss, excitement and special moments of brought back a little of the sparkle of moving in my memory. It's exhausting and unsettling no matter how many times you do it though, so I wish you a very speedy settling in 💜
Also I've been using maple syrup in my tea, coffee and hot cocoa for years. Some how the maple flavor just doesn't come through which makes it a perfect sweetener in a pinch XD
