No Equipment Shoulder Warm Up

  • “My gym is closed and I don’t have gear” will only go so far. Like the-space-between-the-period-and-the-next-letter far.
You have a body. Use it.
This applies to your warm as well as your workout.
The last thing that should happen is folks coming out of quarantine with new injuries because they didn’t spend enough time warming up, or neglected their maintenance work, or, or, or.
Yeah, your gym is closed. Use that time you would have spent driving and tack it onto your warm up.
This no-equipment shoulder warm up is a favorite of ours because it ties in the lower body and the scapula, works in rotation, involves hand movements, and even throws in a solid dose of Tai Chi for good measure.
Touch those end ranges. Own those arm wheels. 10 is the magic number.
    You got this. #IUTU #liveready #thereadystate

What a smart way to warm up the shoulders, no equipment at all, just using the force of your body. Thank you for sharing!

One of the greatest warm ups i tried so far. Going to be part of my routine on the tennis court and even before shooting some baskets in the garden.

I work early mornings at FedEx. I wake up stiff at 2 am. These helped loosen up some tension and I can feel blood flow to my rotator cuff. Thank you

I love it! The best exercise (or warmup) is the one you actually do! I'm very likely to do this "no-equipment" routine. I don't even need to find extra space on the floor!

Bruh, do you have this for every joint? I don't think you had warm ups in supple leopard first edition. I just want movements for my whole body that make sure everything is moved, has good rom and is strong. Is there one program that has it all?
