If the unconscious bar is to low, you can get narcoberries (black berries) place the berries into your raptors inventory and press “feed”. When you feed the berries to your raptor the unconscious bar goes up. Not all the way but it helps a lot. Just a quick tip if you don’t have a soothing balm to help tame it.
I used the club for my first raptor tame. It worked, then sadly my raptor got killed by two other raptors I tried taming, they got out of the bolas every time I clubbed them. But my first one didn’t

I bolad it. I threw a bola at the raptor. This prevents the raptor from moving temporarily. Since the raptor only has melee attacks, and I was out of its range, it looked at me, but did not attack. Hope this helps! Btw, to use the bola, tap twice on your screen on the right side, but on the second tap, instead of lifting you finger back up, hold it down. Release your finger to throw the bola. It makes a quick snap sound once it hits its target, to let you know that you hit it. Watch out for this sound, and craft multiple bolas (just in case) if you can.
If u wanna fr be defended spend 30 dollars on the game and get the eerie turret arketype and then buy some gold chains and pay other people to get the resources for you for the turrets with the gold chains.
Decent way to make alliances as well. I used to do that and had an alliance of around 30 people although we still got crushed by the Spanish (whom I later teamed up with to fight back against the Chinese) and the Chinese. Ark was fun. Wow that was 2 years ago now. Times flies.

You want to use punching or rock flinging but never anything that does a lot of damage. Creatures have a hidden torpor bar and a health bar. You want to make sure you are keeping its health high.

I have been banned from Ark, unfortunately. The anti-cheat system thought I was cheating for no reason at all, and banned me and wiped my whole tribe. We were alphas and had tamed nearly every Dino. I could play with you, but it can’t be Hunter NA pvp. Any other server works. You should straight up kill the alpha raptor at all costs, and then use the preserving bin to store its meat. Use the prime meat to tame whatever carnivore you want. You should get a longneck and 60 ammo and build a small 2 wall high tower to shoot it.

Quick tips to tame an raptor : use a bola then make it unconscious then put 15 meat and 4 narcotics in it (to tame a 25 lvl) use narcotics when it unconscious bar hits 50 percent when it will be tame it will become 35 lvl

Doesn't work for me. I feel like your skipping something. Idk maybe because you got attacked, but i put meat in me hot bar, and my inventory and the raptor inventory. I tried every combination and nothing works.
U have to knock it, put meat in it’s once tory, and make sure that it’s eating the meat. Tap “feed” on the meat to force feed it meat which can help if it’s eating something else instead.

you might be killing them if they get knocked down but there is no bar. if they are running around still they arent unconscious. but if they are becoming alive again after dropping down then your game is messed up unfortunately. the ark app sucks.

Put ur stuff in a box and then just lead it away from ur base as far as possible and once it eventually kills u u will be fine and respawn back at ur base

@Minigunrypted yeah, I was looking for a high level raptor tame at the redwoods mountains and I only found like 2 packs of raptors and all of them were low levels (I was playing on hard mode combined with brutal survivalist and I was level 23) and then laterly, I thought about why not tame a rex? Since it's better than a raptor alot more and can help me grind for exp. I had a soothing balm on me and I started to search for a Rex , in a few minutes I found my first rex and it was only level 60 but it's stats were awesome for a level 60 and I tried my best to tame it and I really did tame it. Now it got around 5.5K HP in a few level-ups and lots of melee damage. I named him Big Johnny because he was such a juggernaut with that HP and melee stat.

Try to bring melee weapons. If u have a hatchet, u can tap and hold down like you would with your revolver when you want to shoot multiple shots in a row. This causes the hatchet to auto attack whenever possible, so it will be constantly attacking. If you do this whilst the raptor is charging at you, you will still be able to attack the raptor when it is on top of you due to a glitch.
I killed one raptor I tired to tame him with the bola than he do that again I used the bat to tame him but he stunned me than the bola cracked than started to kill me

You don’t need to download it. You don’t need to tap anything by there. Just tap the inventory of it and put in the meat and wait. However, that app can help if you want to know specifically what you will need to tame. I also recommend it because it helps you understand the game better and get more prepared for what creatures you will come across later in your play through.

Instead of the slingshot I used a bat and I think the sling shot was a bit faster for that
it would take alot of hits to knock out a raptor with a club and could have a chance that the club would break

If the raptor is hight level you need to bola it many times before it works or maybe you missed

Yes it would work very well make sure that you have a good spot to shoot it from though as spikes can get in the way sometimes

Bola works only for raptor when you drop it right wher raptor is and and after 30 second (not sure)it start to move again

Tip sleep first before finding raptor so there hungry and so very fast to tame

I am using an axe to knock it unconciuos but it dies each and every time, do i need to use slingshot?
Don't use axe when taming a dino it, you will kill him, instead use slingshot, bola or club
