Awesome. “Obsession” is what it takes for a feat like this. Next I think Oz should run a 24 hour race. I’ll bet he could do 150 in cooler conditions which would be absolutely world class. Love the magic, love the running. What an amazing human!
As an Islander- with a T&F background who's also put on road races as well as one who is very steeped in the Island's history, I have to say; this is very cool. I also did the Five Borough bike "race" with my 70 year-old dad a few years back and I know first hand what it's like to support and encourage your teammate to finish-gotta give Props to the team.
The more you walk, the harder it is to keep running, as you start to cool down and lock up. This run was a tremendous accomplishment. I know those roads too, though mostly flat, there is constant traffic.
So incredible!!!! Congratulations!!! Oz you are such an inspiration!!!! Also the video is amazing, such great storytelling through video, you really captured the emotion and intensity of the challenge!
Oz is my hero, and always has been. I wish he would have signed his autograph for me back when he was on America’s got talent but the security guards never let me get to him. He is the reason why I am into ultras and magic as well. Let’s go oz
What an amazing and inspiring story and film of our beautiful island. It's so cool following along and knowing exactly where you're running through being a native Long Islander myself and knowing the south shore like the back of my hand. So much respect! Also why did the lighthouse look so bad in the intro, poor thing needs a fresh coat 😭
This just motivated me to try to complete the Manhattan perimeter run again solo with everything I need in my backpack. Last time I tried I DNF'd at 27 miles due to cramping in my front upper thigh near hip, came across many detours and road closures which made the course about 37 miles.
This was amazing! Watched this twice. A goal and a dream completed! Well done! Excellent job from your team being with you on every step of the way. I enjoyed the scenery. Thank you for the motivation.

Hell YEAH!!!! It was an honor and privilege to run, juggle glow in the dark balls and be barefoot with ya, brother. Next shenanigan in da holy laand mon!
"Supported trips can have as much support means you can enlist, as long as you are entirely self-powered." In this case it's a great effort, outstanding but not legit FKT.
OH, it is possible. the 24 hour record is mind-blowing 319 km/hour. Granted it is flat but still. no limits to human ability: science of body n brain. the human race has excelled in everything and wants to rewrite the universe but god said no. he made it un-thinkabily big.
???? Why did this guy wear TWO shirts during the heat of the day -- one of them long-sleeved -- but no shirt in the cooler night temperatures? Shouldn't it have been just the opposite? Does he have any common sense?
Next time you say u alive think of the environment u killing throwing juice bottles on road side u had people u could have passed to, was enjoy video til I saw u do that.

And here I am not wanting to drive 2 hours to Montauk and this dude runs the whole entire island lol
😂

Hey Leonardo! Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. Totally, it’s a team effort, and a special energy to racing in NYC!
Amazing performance and a great message conveyed through this film.

this is such a great story. and the score for this is just so good.

I could feel my heart racing for him i could only imagine the exhaustion.
It was so hot out 🥵

Fantastic editing. As someone who lives on long island, Id try to run away from here too!

13:26 shows me that Oz is a real runner. You do not mess with a runner's Garmin, especially while they're doing an ultra! Lol.
Incredible
he had an awesome team and they propelled him every step!! And he had time to spare in the end!!!
Absolutely!
You are brave running on the Long Island roads😂 I have been living on the island for 56 yrs Congratulations
What a moving and brilliant documentary, a true testament to Oz’s unbroken and persevering spirit 👏🏼⚡️
Thank you. Absolutelyl!
Amazing! You were running a block away from my house and I had no clue. Truly amazing 🎉
I remember him from AGT! Last mile at 5:55 pace??? UNREAL
did anyone notice quality of the road? UNBELIEVABLE.
just ran here. From where? Montauk
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
this is a true feat. i would definitely have chosen a different shoe - one with a little more chill - but good on bro. inspirational.
Amazing video, great run!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
We agree. Phenomenal!!!
LETS GO!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Jesus. I've done it on a bicycle, but could never run that!
Amazing!!!
Hell YEAH!!!! It was an honor and privilege to run, juggle glow in the dark balls and be barefoot with ya, brother. Next shenanigan in da holy laand mon!
Juggling....check, Glowing Balls...check, shoes? .....F%^%&* No! LOL
Congratulations on the run; how did you keep from getting runners trots when drinking all that gatorade ?
Oz took 3 shits during the run which is a record for him
This is so cool to know this guy ran in your backyard lmao!!
7:06 Welcome To Mastic!
Omg you went right past my town!!
Me gusta correr
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
👏🏾👏🏾
Loved the film, but doing 5:55 on his last mile????

Great effort.. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I wonder if this is a legit FKT when crew is holding him up, keeping him from passing out.
fastestknowntime.com is cool with it!
"To get a Supported FKT you also have to beat the fastest Self-Supported and Unsupported times." It's from fkt's guideline.
"Supported trips can have as much support means you can enlist, as long as you are entirely self-powered." In this case it's a great effort, outstanding but not legit FKT.
This was great but I don’t know how no one knew this was happening and you passed my street in Merrick
it is NYK everybody is mired in their own battles and world. it is hard to be famous out there.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Dan. Appreciate the watch brother! -Reece
So which team won, white or pink?
Here from the yak
Wow
His last mile was a 5:55?!? Wow..!
I didn’t know this was humanly possible 😳
OH, it is possible. the 24 hour record is mind-blowing 319 km/hour. Granted it is flat but still. no limits to human ability: science of body n brain. the human race has excelled in everything and wants to rewrite the universe but god said no. he made it un-thinkabily big.
did he run 130 miles with just gels gatorade and salt tablets, with no solid food?
yes....
I thought fishers island was further east
He’s not Moses
@@Joe-yq5pd lol. That was funny
Notice how he’s running away from Long Island
What’s your point?
LOL like many others
he also took in basially zero calories the whole stretch
He took a gel roughly every 2 miles! So he took in probably 5000 calories throughout the effort . 50 gels x 100 calories!
???? Why did this guy wear TWO shirts during the heat of the day -- one of them long-sleeved -- but no shirt in the cooler night temperatures? Shouldn't it have been just the opposite? Does he have any common sense?
Sun protection during the day! Then strip at night because it was still super hot, probably low 80’s even at nighttime
I haven't watched this yet, but I think you could have cut 20 hours out if you didn't run on the LIE.
Lol I see what you did there!
Next time you say u alive think of the environment u killing throwing juice bottles on road side u had people u could have passed to, was enjoy video til I saw u do that.
The crew picked it up 👍🏼
Not impresed he basically walked entire distance and when he seldom ran he ran like a woman arms high terrible another lame post
😂
dude, that is 130 mile run. wtf? it is an incredible achievement. stop pointing.
This is amazing. I run about 2 or more miles a day but this is sick.
Much respect. 🫡
