Smoking some Balkan Sobranie in a Sav 673ks Fantasia, drinking some handground black coffee, and a new upload from Matches860; had to pinch myself to see if it was all just a dream!! Fortunately, I wasn't dreaming but could "bearly" believe my luck!! 😂😁😁 Happy Piping John!!
I was in first grade, we were driving through Glacier National Park in Montana; traffic was stopped by bears in the roadway. My younger brother (was about 3) was trying to roll down the window and "pet that big doggie;" my parents had to fight him back into the seat.
My first experience with bears was up in Maine driving to college. There was a mother with three or four cubs along the side of the highway. The mother was watching the traffic go by as the cubs wrestled each other behind her. Funniest thing I ever saw.
John, I think that he smelled a cellar full of aged tobacco. You were lucky he didn't empty it 😀😀😀. Was the bear put to sleep wnd tranported to the woods? Cheers, Janez
I haven't actually seen one yet, but we get a lot of reports of bears on the town Facebook page. We do get lots of deer passing through and actually bedding down in our backyard. That's been the most surprising part about living in NJ: the prevalence of wildlife. I've lived in small towns in SC, MS, and MO, but I've seen more wildlife here in Jersey than all of those places combined. I obviously suspect a reason why that is.
Neat thing to see, although not under that circumstance. Hopefully there isn't much trouble caused by the visitor. My guess is its looking for last supper before it goes to hibernate. You shouldn't have dumped the Bacon Old Fashioned in that bush lol. Happy piping brother.
I loved watching those yearly videos of him smoking that stuff hahaha!! Especially the one were he picked that big ass dark fired leaf off the top and shoved it in his cob. Then he fired it up and starting shrugging hahaha!!
That’s a BIGGUN’!!! If she (or he) is tearing up the neighbor’s trash can, you probably should go ahead and call your local Game & Fish department. A bear that big could really do some damage to your property. GOOD LUCK, John! Cliff
Hey John: Brings to mind an old poem: " The bear sleeps very well in his little bear skin, he sleeps very well I'm told, last night I slept in my little bare skin and I got a hell of a cold!". Anyway, did you offer him a pipe and a little Hunted Bookshop. LOL. Be safe and keep puffin.
Wow, can't imagine how that feels like to have a wild bear in your front lawn.... The thoughts of kids out playing or someone just out for a walk... Scary. Do u have a neighbourhood WhatsApp group to notify them?
The DNR really should be notified about this and the bear needs to be trapped and taken to a more remote area. The more they are allowed to roam within our neighborhoods, the less fear they will have of us and the more that they will associate us with food from plants/shrubs, bird/squirrel feeders and garbage cans. Some neighbors probably think this Bear is “cute” and put out food for them, not realizing the consequences in potential harm to them or pets which will lead to possible euthanization of the Bear from DNR officials.
Good point! This is a growing issue here for sure. There were no bears when I moved here 35 years ago but in just the past five years they have made an explosive comeback.
John, was that your neighborhood??? Was that black bear in your neighbors yard!?!? LMAO!!!! WOW! I guess people don't jog or take walks around there with out that on their mind's!!
He might be looking for his Pick-a-nick basket.
He did a job on the neighbors trash can LOL.
That Bear looks like Adam Schiff or Jerry Nadler i can't tell from this distance. Nice Bear🇺🇸👍
Yeah, looking to tear the orange dictator wannabe up!
Hey, hey, Boo-Boo!
A burley lover for sure...
Now that's what I call a "Sun Bear"!!
Cool video! He was attracted to the Haunted Bookshop lol!
Does a bear 💩 in the woods. Nope in John's yard 😂😆😄👍
He might be J walking 😂..

"They told me some matchguy has the latest Esoterica drop... freakin mason jars I can't smell Penzance anywhere...."
Damn that would send me running upstairs haha

He is looking for some Haunted bookshop 😀
Wow!!!
Looks like barr stew for supper 😆😆
Brave man, John. I guess he was just looking for some berries, or maybe he could have been your first live studio audience
Yep, they will all be eating as much as possible before they hit the rack for winter. I asked him to come back Friday night at 7, but he just grunted.

Just strolling across the street don't mind him..I'm sure he's smoking some savinelli in his bear pipe. Cheers and good morning to all.
HOLY S#$T!!!!... okay John I confess I sent him there to get the Edgeworth slices for me 😀🌲🌳😂😂😂😂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

@@englishmanpipesmoker3425 That Drak Fired was the only halfway decent thing in the jar, although it was tainted a bit with the gym sock side note.
@@Matches860 John, did I miss the final send off of the Bacon Old Fashioned? I know you mentioned having something special in mind for it.
@@englishmanpipesmoker3425 I watched one and I could tell from his expression that he was continuing on for our benefit.
@@pipingandcamping I never got to do it!
Oh my...
He wants more info on the briar report. He probably missed your live session like I always do. 😉👍
Looks like another former FrogMorton fan.
Hide your kids! Hide your pets!
Really!
That is Ted :D
Hello John,
thank you for sharing! Does this happen often?
Greetings from Munich, Peter
This is our third (witnessed) visit in as many years I believe.
Perhaps he is after the bacon old fashioned...give it to him...maybe he will run
That would be animal cruelty!
Bear repellent
He was in the neighborhood foraging for burley.
No doubt!

No, I kept my distance LOL.
so John, When you do your videos in the woods do you bring bear spray? Have to confess at first I thought it was Sgt. Savinelli. LOL!
Toss him a 673 loaded with some Cornell & Diehl Bow Legged Bear Pipe Tobacco and RUN
I like Bow Legged Bear too much to share it.
Looks happy just chilling walking around hope nobody killed it
He may have eluded the police!
Matches860 they should be left alone and scum humans should stop taking all there land.
John, I'm disappointed You could at have had a selfie with him. !!!!!!
An un-bear-able situation. Try some Haunted Bookshop to scare him away.
A beautiful, albeit potentially dangerous animal.
Did someone recently send you a sample of C&D "Sun Bear" to try?
I didn't hear your normal introduction. Any reason?! LOL

😱😱 that's more than I can "bear".. 😂😂 Maybe you should quit smoking tobaccos with honey outside. 🤣🤣 Stay safe, my friend! 🐻✌🏻

Matches860 Same goes for here in WV where I live. I knew we had a problem when they added our county to the Bear gun season.
@@WVChad I believe our lawmakers are still working on this as well. It takes years for legislation to pass.

I went to get the mail just prior and a guy came by in a pick-up and told me the bear was on the next street over so at least I was ready!
Be careful doing yard work.
