I want to tell you that I will miss him and his stories. Hope you and your mother knows that your father had followers all over world.

I am very sorry for you're loss. You're Dad was a Very Special Person. I found his U tube channel when I was going thru a very bad time. Divorce after 21 years. John was my ground. At the end of the day I drive an 18 wheeler, I am alone 7 days a week and I have a 10 hour sleep break. You're dad took me out of my hurt and made me laugh, with his stories. I am grateful to you're dad for sharing his knowledge. And even if I had a question that I thought he would laugh at he didn't. He helped me navigate thru tobacco and pipes. If you ever sell any of Matches 860s pipes I would be honored to buy one. You're Dad was my friend I wish I had. I know I am hurting. It is hard to smoke haunted bookshop and not have a tear in my eye. You're Dad was everything to me. I looked up to him. I like how relaxed he always was. I wanted to learn that from him. UA-cam is so hard to watch sometimes. Just found a nice video of your dad contemplating matches versus a lighter and you go and read the comments to see what people are saying. And then you find out the person has passed away and this is all within he first two minutes of even finding out about the person and channel. And the fact you jist found them doesnt make it an easier that they are gone. Matches 860 looks like he was an incredible man. Very sad for the world to have lost him
