I think it should put to rest any lingering uncertainty you may have about her personailty. (Of course, this was almost 6 years ago… but based on the interviews I've seen since, I can tell you that she hasn't really changed much, personality-wise.) If you're open to reacting to an interview, this would be an excellent choice for that. Or, if you prefer, you can pair it with her performance of "Unchained Melody" on the same show (just search for "Angelina Jordan synger hos Lindmo").

Yes Angelina's personality is even greater than her talent, she donated ,it was reported, her winnings from this show to childrens charities . She, at just 6 years old also took off her own shoes on the street and gave them to an orphan girl she saw on the street who was weighing people on the for support for her and her siblings whom had scars on her feet and no shoes . Angelina ,it was reported, gave her winnings from this show to children charities, Angelina has to be a genuine walking ,singing, earth bound Angel . Thanks for your support for her!! Cheers mate!!

Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on UA-cam before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " ✌😎✌💯 *AJ* 💯🎙

Just loved watching her grow and become the young woman she is today she is the best vocalist there is out there.
Angelina found this song by searching in UA-cam, she said that she liked the melody! I had never heard this song before I found Angelina a few years back, the song had been banned in the UK when it was released in 1941, suicide was not a good topic at the time. Thankfully, Angelina missed out the second verse. If you listen to Billie Holiday singing this song you will be amazed that Angelina's rendition was practically identical. The songs following this in the competition just got better and better.
Because of the authenticity: the original is a Hungarian song called Sad Sunday, and Rezső Seres is the composer. Today, almost everyone in Hungary knows, and also that it was the song of the suicidal girls, because the pregnant maids threw themselves into the Danube from the bridges!
When you saw her mother crying, she said " That was the moment I knew I lost her to the world"
You want to know her character? Her personality? When she was six she was abroad , middle east I think, with her parents. She saw a little girl sitting on the pavement with a set of scales and charged people a small amount to get weighed. Angelina saw the girl had no shoes so she took off her own shoes, which she loved by the way, and gave them to the little girl. And vowed that she would never perform in public again wearing shoes, as long as there were children without shoes.
Her improvement from here to final performance beyond remarkable.
You can go year by year from 6 to 15 years old and see steady improvement each year even though at any given point it seems like she can't get any better. If she keeps doing this until the age of 20 she won't just be the best singer alive today, but the best singer in recorded history. Even though she is so good she is apparently constantly working on her craft. Many child singers actually seem to deteriorate during their teens, but not Angelina.

You must think that you reactors are somehow warned, either because you already know Angelina or because the fans give you directions or recommend her, but imagine what effect it had on the judges and the spectators, for whom Angelina was absolutely a unknown child ... I still remember the effect I had when I saw it the next day, also broadcast abroad, and it was of complete amazement and admiration for that wren with such an extraordinary voice ❤️ ❤️

It is reasonable to wonder if her personality fits her professional persona. Thankfully, we have been able to hear from those have had a relationship with her. There are great interviews with her guitarists in Norway and LA (Egil and Ivan). They have given us insight into not only Angelina but her family. Yes she is a very real, good and nice person. And yes, she has a very supportive family. Both Egil and Ivan were essentially welcomed into her family. There is not a cross word written anywhere. It appears that what you see is what you get.
If you check out the recording of Billie Holiday you'd realize that Angelina's version is surprisingly similar to Billie Holiday's version and tone.

I'm sure Angelina has good people around her. When her record label (Republic Records) , family and herself want it, they can just push the button. Many people forget that she is only 15 years old today because she is so mature for her age. I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 600 Million Views on UA-cam and over 2 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via UA-cam. All the important top personalities in the western music industry know who she is and what she can do. In just a few years I know that we will see great things from Angelina.
Angelina is as special as a person than a singer. She is a strong and compassionate girl. The next song she sang in the NGT show was 'I'm a fool to want you' by Billie Holiday. She sang it a capella. I am thinking that most 7 year olds would be singing "the wheels on the bus go round and round" or something like that, definitely not singing Gloomy Sunday from Billie Holiday. Simply amazing in all possible ways. And BTW NJ, her personality is one of Caring, Humble, Sweet, just as she looks. Raised millions for children's Charities and environmental causes, started by donating her winnings from the show to charity...... that is who she is and continues to be. She is a music genius also.
There's a video out there somewhere of Angelina at kindergarten aged 5, and the kids are having a sing-song and she's sitting there looking grumpy, no doubt thinking, "You call that singing?"

NJ Angelina's incredible talent has inspired me to improve my creative writing in an attempt to describe how unique she is and how much her music means to me. I strongly encourage you to be equally inspired to improve your speaking skills (life after all is about improving) to attempt to relate how special Angelina is, in the most respectful way possible.
She seems to be quite compassionate judging from what she and her family has shown about her. She even used a recent business oportunity where she bought some leftover pallets of her book project from the bancrupted publisher to support charities.
And she seems to be quite intelligent and reasonable which is always a good thing with people that actually can wield some influence.

Let me give you an example: Several months ago I stumbled onto AJ singing "Autumn Leaves" and regarded it as an album filler. I listened to it again today and suddenly I heard a beautiful song that touched me deeply. In the words of reactor Adam Straughan, "What we are dealing with here is a genius...". I am thrilled to understand just a small fraction of her talent.

Avicii is Swedish not Norwegian. Angelina covered one of his songs and did the vocals for his Volvo commercial.
The Norwegian that you are referring to is Alan Walker who invited her to sing at his concert that was streamed live. She sang “Sing Me to Sleep” and “Faded”.

I read somewhere that when her mother was asked why she cried during this performence, she said "because that was the moment I realized I had lost her to the world"... I don't actually belive she said that, I feel it's an after construction from some fellow Angelina fan:)...BUT...she could have said just that, and it would have been a valid statement 🌟
NJ, many successful artists always will be remembered because of a classic performance. A song most people will identify with. Angelina (now 15 years old) has so many classics it's unbelievable. Gloomy Sunday is one of those classics. It represents the official start to her career at 7 years old!
NJ, apparently you haven't read a lot of the comments about Angelina. You should. You will find out her incredible musical abilities, which we adore, are challenged by what a wonderful human being she is.
If you are reading this, I sincerely hope you are, let me throw a couple of things your way.
The clip of Gloomy Sunday was from Norway's Got Talent. She won the contest. She donated all her winnings to children's charities.
At 6 years old, while visiting her grandma's relatives in the Middle East she came across another 6 year older who was sitting on the side walk with no shoes on and her feet were badly scarred. Angelina asked permission if she could talk to the girl. During the conversation she was made aware the girl had no shoes and had no parents. They were dead. The little girl had siblings to take care of and she was "working" on the sidewalk. The girl had a scale by her and her hope was that people would come by to weigh themselves and then leave her "a tip". Angelina took off her shoes (her favorite boots) and gave them to the little girl. The girl refused at first but Angelina insisted. The conversation continued and upon saying goodbye to each other the little girl said she had nothing to give to Angelina but, she would pray for her to become a superstar singer. On the way home, Angelina struggled with the thought there are children in the world without shoes and she never wanted to forget this moment. She decided from that moment on, whenever she would perform in public she would perform barefoot. And, she will continue that until all children in the world can have shoes to wear. BTW, she wrote a book at 9 years old about the whole story.
During her career she never refuses an invitation to perform at children's charities events and has helped raise millions of dollars.
Her goal in life is to do what she can to help make the world a better place to live, particularly for people who have never experienced true happiness in their lives. And, she believes that is only possible if people begin to love one another.
NJ, I'll end with this. In my opinion, Angelina is love and her voice is her instrument.

In the full version of this video, Angelina revealed one line of her resume for her future profession, she said: “I love singing, and when I grow up, I want to be a superstar.” You are absolutely right, IMO she is a superstar today.

So somebody PLEASE explain...how on earth does a seven-year-old have even the remotest CLUE about breath control or vibrato or vocal control or timing or phrasing etc., etc.....let alone MASTER THEM?????
The discussion should be: Is she on key, is she pitch perfect? how is her breath management, does she emote the feeling of the song?
Then you factor in age... or not... as it would not be fair to trivialize her talent by not matching it to any singer of any age!
