The amount of Hello!Project here makes my heart happy. All the H!P groups tend to never be mentioned when talking about Jpop and they're so influential. They kept the idol industry afloat when no one cared about idols in the 2000s. Morning Musume is legendary! You even have S/mileage on here, wow.

Actually they are just TVXQ (Tohoshinki) and BoA because they're the only Kpop artist who trained as Jpop idols to enter in that market, that's why in Japan they're considered Jpop artist. Next could be Kara and 2PM although both never training as Jpop idols.

If you like this style (girly, cutesy, fun, etc.) I def recommend cho tokimeki's album from january this year (hapilablue, kawaii memorial, saijyoukawaiino, etc.) + of course iconic single Suki, + single Princess Hero; and Fruits Zipper's New Kawaii album (or the Fruits Basket repackage/version they released more recently). The other kawaii lab groups have mostly singles but theirs are great too, I particularly like Candy Tune's and Cutie Street's songs

I've literally seen a tiktok of "where are the izone girls now" and hitomis section said "has a brand" conveniently leaving out that she was in akb at the time? still to this days people say "guys sakura can't sing as well bcs of her jpop roots" - putting down a whole genre for their favs??? ignoring all the groups you can find that can sing and dance well?
