Thank you for this informative video, the heads up about Westport to Ticonderoga is really appreciated. I also wanted to mention that the newly reinstated Amtrak Adirondack line that parallels the northern leg of the EST does not accommodate bicycles. It makes no sense.
@@NobleInventionBikeTouring That was about 7 years ago, so i'm sure 'im forgetting the pain, I remember some decent sized climbs in there, but always felt as If I was mainly going downhill. A couple years ago I rode up The Hudson Valley Thru Albany up to Whitehall, where I branched off and went to Vermont. Its always nice to ride up there.

Very helpful, great channel. Rouses Point to Albany is a great stretch, I did that route reversed a few years ago.
How difficult was the route travelling south to north?
